Bigger screen and wall mounted
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted a screen bigger than one I had on stand in dining area. This size is perfect and mounting on wall gives ability to watch in 3 different areas of kitchen/dining/sunken room.

Exactly as expected!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cheap TV doesn’t have smart TV functions built in which was honestly nice for a change feel like they just ruin TVs in this price range (slow them down get in the way) picture is great for the price. Use in Den to watch You Tube / play video games casually.

Maybe Last of The Non-Smart TVs
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect TV for my elderly mother who can't navigate a smart TV. Really a nice picture for the money. She had a name[-brand which used to be a great company at one time, now that cable port or whatever it is called broke off. This TV seems much more solid.

DO NOT BUY THIS TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV almost two weeks ago. This TV will lose all sound when the Xfinity cable box it's hooked up to "restarts" in the middle of the night. It will also lose all sound if you change the resolution from 1080p to 720p or vice versa. I work nights and Xfinity sent me a new cable box UPS and a few sets of HDMI cables. I also have another cable box hooked up to a different TV. None of these are the issue. I called the Best Buy store twice to be on hold for 40 minutes. They do not answer their phone. I ended up calling Best Buys 800 number and talked to someone from the Geek Squad. They said to hold the power button and volume up button on the TV and unplug it. The problem is this TV has ONE button - power. Time to get in touch with Insignia, maybe it needs a firmware update. I sent them an Email and they sent me back an insulting one. Four questions with answers: - When did this start happening? Was it since the first time you used it? - Purchased 11/6/20 - Started happening 11/8/20 or two days later. - Was it misused or damaged in some way (accidental or not)? - NO it wasn't misused or damaged in some way, that's pretty insulting, it's been sitting on its stand in a bedroom. - When and where did you make the purchase? - On 11/6/20 at Best Buy Store #301 Downers Grove, IL - Do you still have the receipt? If so, please attach a picture of it. Yes I have the receipt but I have decided to return this TV to Best Buy and buy a different brand at a different merchant so it's not worth my time to send you a copy of it. The misused or damaged in some way (accidental or not) question is insulting. I bought your product and you insinuate that I may have misused or damaged it? No, to be polite your TV is a piece of junk that will probably stop working in a short time, I have no confidence in it and will return it. Basically I buy a cheapo TV and I just sort of expected it to work. I had a TCL that was going strong well into 6 years. It got hit hard by a heavy dog toy in middle of the screen and that was the end of it. This TV acted up in two days which doesn't inspire my confidence in it. This was Insignias answer to troubleshooting: Power cycle: 1. Unplug your TV from the electric current. 2. Once unplugged, press and hold the power button of the TV (not from the remote) for 60 seconds. 3. Wait for 5 minutes. 4. Then plug again your TV and turn it on. That did nothing. This TV is going back this weekend, I work from 8PM to 6AM during the week. To say that Best Buys and Insignias CS is bad is understating the word bad. Best Buy needs to answer their phone and Insignia needs to sell a TV that works, there are many complaints about no sound and Insignia TVs. Spend a little more money and but something else, even the Geek Squad said they loved their TCL. I wanted a no frills TV and I got one, you have to hit mute and then unmute it to get sound. I wasn't expecting a Sony but sound is just as important as a picture on a TV. The picture is actually pretty decent, that's one thing this TV has going for it but I'll be buying a more expensive TV from a different retailer, this experience has been bad. I have put about 3 hours of time trying to troubleshoot this TV, It's getting put back in it's box and being returned. Best Buy used to be pretty good but I'll be shopping elsewhere for electronics. You cannot even answer your phone? Wait on hold for 40 minutes and nobody answers? That's unacceptable.
