I don't want a large television as it strains my eyes too much but this one has nice contrast in it that doesn't hurt me eyes.

My son plays games on it and the refresh rate is excellent. You had to look really hard to find any noticeable lag. The reason for 4 stars though is the volume control. The speakers are fine but when you increase the volume, it's low-low-low-low-LOUD! Fortunately, my son wears headphones when he plays his games but it is an annoyance.

Insignia brand is a quality product and I look forward to having this TV for at least 10 years also. At the price, if it lasts 5 years it is more than worth it. The picture is vibrant and clear and I use it with my computer as my monitor.

40 inch insignia TV

The 40 inch insignia TV is a great product for its class colors are vibrant sound is great comes with different apps that you can download overall for the money I would probably buy another one.

We bought 3 for each kid and hung it in their rooms and connected chrome cast to it so they can use their google assistant to control the tv. This is helpful for my 3YO since he can’t read the words on the remote so he just tells google what to do and the tv turns on and off and changes to what he wants to watch.

Picture is very good, audio is good and programming is easy. Very hard to find a "Dumb" tv now days and we had no use for the "Smart" tvs. The remote for this one is much less complicated as well.

We got her to switch from a 30 year old tube television built into a stand with a picture that was beginning to go out to this tv. She sends updates a couple.of times a week on what she is watching and how it's like 'being at the movies!'.
