Very good, inexpensive television

I wanted a "dumb TV" as I have a Roku and paying extra for the smart features felt like a waste of money. I bought a separate universal TV stand as the shelf I have is too narrow for the stands provided. It does not show a perfect picture where you can see every pore on a person's face, but it's great for a bedroom to stream movies and play video games.

Big, clear screen, a very complete remote control including a sleep timer option not mentioned in the product description. The sound quality isn't very good but I'm using external speakers via the headphones output. Not bad at all for the price.

The first one died after 2 years, I hope this one lasr more I already got the 5 years protection plan. However excellent quality picture. I got a Hisense o e and the picture quality was really bad.

Samsung, shame on you!

Researched on Google, apparently a common event. Good by expensive Samsung. Went as cheap and simple as possible...F A N T A S T I C picture and performance. There is NO DOWNSIDE...don't waste your money on S A xxx C R A P! Buy Insignia!

Cheap, Crisp, and Clean

The picture is so sharp and crisp I made the old tv look like it came from the 50s. Plus at $120, who can complain?

BEST BUY If you already have a Roku or fire stick

Same tv. Have really had good things with the Insignia brand. Just a regular tv with none of the “Smart” features. Picture and sound quality are good. Great overall value

The remote is nice. lt has fairly large buttons and there are many buttons. Which allow access to many settings without having to go into the menu. Some new TVs do not have the red/white/yellow composite input, but this one does so l don't have to upgrade my 14 year old DVD player just yet. After some picture adjustments, the color and contrast look great-better than my 50" Visio. But beware-the USB input will not play movies from the USB-only still pictures. With the other 2 TVs l can download Youtube videos to a flash drive and watch them on the TV. Lesson learned-read the manual fully before buying a product. So when l replace my DVD player, l'll look for one that can play videos from the USB.
