This is not our first Insignia and probably will not be our last. Looking for a TV for a guest room and with the sale it was a no brainer. Very good picture for the price.

Just a basic tv. This is not a smart tv.. no apps. You will need a streaming device. Great picture quality. Suited my needs for a camper or even a bedroom. Picture quality is great! 1080p

Our Samsung "smart TV" developed more shadows than the afternoon sunset. Researched on Google, apparently a common event. Good by expensive Samsung. Went as cheap and simple as possible...F A N T A S T I C picture and performance. There is NO DOWNSIDE...don't waste your money on S A xxx C R A P! Buy Insignia!

I got this lnsignia 40" to replace an lnsignia 32" purchased earlier this year. The remote is nice. lt has fairly large buttons and there are many buttons. Which allow access to many settings without having to go into the menu. Some new TVs do not have the red/white/yellow composite input, but this one does so l don't have to upgrade my 14 year old DVD player just yet. After some picture adjustments, the color and contrast look great-better than my 50" Visio. But beware-the USB input will not play movies from the USB-only still pictures. With the other 2 TVs l can download Youtube videos to a flash drive and watch them on the TV. Lesson learned-read the manual fully before buying a product. So when l replace my DVD player, l'll look for one that can play videos from the USB.

I admit I was leery about a brand I had never heard of but after looking at the reviews online I decided to buy one. I liked it so much I bought a second one. For the price this is an excellent TV!

Great price and very nice tv for being on the lower scale of tvs.

I’ve been pleased with this TV so far. Paired with a Roku, it does everything I need it to, providing a good picture and sound. Got on special for less than $200 with an Amazon Echo included; pretty unbeatable value IMO.

Bought this for my 93 year old mother. She loves it! She loves to watch football and was having trouble reading the score/ quarter/time on the bottom of the screen. This TV is the same size as her old TV. She says the picture is brighter and words are so sharp. She can see her football scores now and is so happy!

I purchased this as a replacement for one I accidentally broke. The picture quality and sound is absolutely excellent.

Exactly what I needed to replace my old tv. Picture quality is great!

I use it as a computer monitor and it has great quality picture and sound. I wasn't sure about the brand Insignia at first, but it has been better at everything compared to our old Vizio TV.

I actually bought this item for my 95 year old Mother in Law. She loves it especially since it is bigger than her last tv. Although the sound is good quality I am not a fan of all of the new tvs without a sounder attached.
