I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine. She absolutely loves it. The sound and picture quality are great. She doesn’t use any smart features but it has 3 HDMI ports in case she ever wants to use a streaming stick.

Great TV for vaule! Picture quality is clean, only been a few weeks since ive owned it but so far TV is awesome for its price.

Bought this for my son as an upgrade from his little tv he had. Now he doesn't have to sit so close to see stuff now. Picture is great he loves it.

Absolutely wonderful TV for the money. Clear picture and sound. Not too technologically over my head, but very modern. Just right. Been very impressed with the Insignia line of TVs. This is my 4th one as either a gift or for myself. Highly recommend.

Light weight TV, that is easy to set up and use. I like that I can customize the input labels that appear on screen. So instead of showing something like HDMI1, HDMI2, you can change it to say Roku, or TV, or DVD Player. Nice touch. I also like that it has Inlink CEC so it recognizes my fire stick and allows me to use the TV remote to control my fire stick, same thing for my soundbar. That's two extra remotes eliminated from the pile. I think the setup instructions could use a bit of clarification on some items though. I could only get my soundbar to work using the optical port, even though the TV and soundbar have ARC HDMI ports... hmm.. Other than that it's great! Oh, BTW, there are some TV settings that are listed under the "help" portion of the menu for some weird reason, just saying.

I have not only this one but have a 46 Insignia I got 8 years ago from Best Buy. I as far as I care they are both top notch. Easy to set up and program .

Great tv for the price, can’t beat it. Sound is good, Picture is pretty good.

It's light, slim and picture/sound are great for the $149.00 sale price. Only time will tell how it holds up but I'm pretty confident in the Insignia brand, I've had quite a few of these BB in house branded items and so far, knock on wood- they have stood the test of time and use! I do wish the remote wasn't so bulky...

Outstanding for a bedroom. I needed a cheap tv Always loved insignia products. Are they high end? No but they don't try to be. They are economical and well made. Well worth a buy.

I needed a basic TV that could be connected to an external antenna. This TV works great. Very easy to set up.

Purchased this TV to use as a computer monitor. I chose this due to the 40" size, 1080p HD resolution, and the 5000:1 contrast ratio. Also, I picked it up on sale for $140, so the price was hard to beat. I've had it a week and so far it looks great.

Very nice tv, great picture. This works great for me in the room it is in. Easy set up and sound is good, picture is very good.

I have to admit, I was not familiar with the "Insignia" brand but, it was such a good deal that I thought I would give it a try. So far, I like everything about my new 40 inch Insignia TV and, I am glad that I decided to buy it.

Awesome tv. Insignia has great picture. And hooks up to the ps3, 4, and 5.

I wanted a TV without any smart options. You can't buy a 4k TV that doesn't have smart options, as far as I know. I'm using this with another TV to watch more than one sporting event at a time. The TV performs as expected. The tv is basic but has different picture modes. Normal mode doesn't seem to need any adjustment. When using other modes, you might have to make adjustments. It performs about the same as my 9-year-old Samsung 1080p TV. This TV is completely fine as a secondary TV in a bedroom, garage, or kitchen. In hindsight, I should have bought the 43-inch. Keep that in mind when shopping.
