Love the fact that this thing is 40 watts.
I would recommend this to a friend It works but the plastic is very hard and thin

Did not notice anything getting hot while plugged into vehicle recepticle. Just hard plastic that feels thick enough but is hollow and thin sounding. Only use on ocassion so no long term analysis.

This worked fine for my iphone, which Apple products are often tricky. So I have no complaints.
