Don't Do It

I'll be watching something off of an app, and about once a week, the whole TV will just reset, and go back to the Fire TV menu. Okay fine, I'll hook up a Roku instead. Volume is louder using the Roku anyway. If you don't use the Fire TV remote or something on the FIre TV part, the whole TV will go into sleep mode. So if you're watching something on the Roku, or perhaps a long DVD, the TV will turn off after 2 hours. It's a known issue on Fire TV's, and there is no way to turn it off using the settings on the TV. Asking Best Buy help tells you to turn the sleep timer to none, even though that's not even an option. The only way to fix it to use adbLink and "hack" into the system to tell it not to turn off. Some Pros: It has a great picture, and it comes with a lot of settings to fine tune it. Lightweight. Decent sound, but no more Fire TV's for me.

The only downside is that my Cox remote doesn't pair to to my HDMI. Have to go to settings each and every time to input my HDMI.

Lightweight and inexpensive, it is a good size for the patio. The picture is pretty decent considering the bright light during the day.
