The difference between the TV like this and the more expensive models in terms of picture is that if you are not right in front of the TV, the picture is not as good. And gets worse as you move farther to the side. As long as you know this, you will be very happy with the TV. And you definitely need a sound bar. The sound from the TV is very tinny. I bought a Vizio sound bar and subwoofer for $139 and I am very happy with the combination.

The remote control makes changing channels difficult as you can't enter numbers. Scrolling is time consuming when finding a different channel to view.

It is, if you don't adjust it, but if you go to settings, it's easy to dial it back a little. Once done, the picture is very good. And surprisingly for a cheap TV, sound is great,
