    Purchased Feb 2019 already having issues. Currently being left on hold with customer service and was told they need to send a tech to look at the TV. The Return policy is only 15 days. So I bought a TV that's not even 2 months old and it already needs repairs???!!! Issues I've had so far include the Blue LED light at bottom of TV which should stay on when TV is off intermittently goes on and off on its own, TV itself turns on all by itself. These are classic signs of possible lose connections inside this TV which could possibly cause further damage to itself or my home. I have had this TV wake me in the middle of the night on more than one occasion and am wondering if its getting ready to burn up inside like it has for other customers who have rated it. I guess I'll leave it unplugged till the service tech comes to look at it. HAVE BEEN HOLDING FOR MORE THAN 15 MINUTES JUST TO SCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENT FOR TECH. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK. FOR THAT MATTER DO NOT BUY ANY INSIGNIA PRODUCT. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

    Blu-Ray Playback Issue, Geek Squad Terrible

    Blu-Ray playback on my new Insignia 43" 4K had a purple overlay out of box. Google indicated a possible HDMI issue with cable or TV HDMI input connector. My Sony player worked (and works) fine with current Samsung TV and I switched the cable to be sure it wasn't the cable. I called Geek Squad and was disconnected twice after being put on hold. I then tried online and "Sid" had me unplug and restart the player. When I informed him the screen was still purple, he responded "Good", then wrote "Thank you for your time" and ended the chat! With this type of "service", the TV is going back tomorrow. This was my third Bestbuy TV but the earlier Samsungs did not have issues so I never tested their service. No more Bestbuy products that might need Geek Squad service. The kicker is that I was prepared to buy a new Blu-Ray player if the player compatibility had been the issue.

    This is a terrible TV, unless you just watch cable/satellite. The apps constantly break (hulu, twitch, netflix) The app will open, but just loads forever. I tried everything I could find to fix the apps. Nothing worked. I got this tv on sale at best buy for $200. Picture quality is good. About the only good thing. It has no built in app or function for casting/mirroring phone. Dont buy this TV if you intend to use any of the apps. Basically just functions as a 4k TV that's 43 inches, with hdmi inputs. I'd return this thing if I could, it's useless as a smart tv.

    No Voice Control via Echo

    The only way to voice control this TV is by holding down a button on the remote and speaking into the remote. You cannot control it from any Echo or other Alexa-enabled device. I have 3 Fire TVs, all different brands plus a regular TV using Fire Stick. I have 5 Echo devices. This TV is the worst implementation of FireTV or any Alexa-enabled device of any kind I have seen. If I have the remote in my hand, why do I need to issue voice commands which get slower and less reliable responses? If you are interested in this TV because of the voice commands, keep shopping.

    Worst TV Ever

    This is the 2nd Tv we got. The first one would hang up on apps, and sometimes just turn off for no reason. No other issues on older Insignia we replaced it with. Returned, and Swapped for new 43" (same one) and then couldn't get it to even recognize the WiFi password. Tech support was useless. Treated me like I was stupid when they just tried to sell me another TV brand!!!!!!!!!!

    Purchased tv on 3/13/19 and it had to be taken back on 4/4/19 to be repaired under the manufacture warranty because the screen went out. It still had sound but no picture. Tv was barely used in the three weeks we had it before it went out. I’m very unsatisfied with this purchase!

    I guess I'm just into the new technology. I didn't want to have to talk to my TV. The controler has no numbers on it, so no way to change channels. Don't like the idea of having amazon control my TV. Will never buy another smart TV.

    Had to return this TV the same day I bought it. TV would glitch intermittently. Same problem with the Toshiba 4K Fire TV. Wouldn't recommend either.
