Not quite in the mark

I have to enable audio on both the tv and sound bar. I have to do this because when switched to the over the air tv, the optical sound sent to their Vizio speaker bar buzzes and then is disabled, and then works again when switched back to media through apps like Prime, Netflix, youtube, etc. When speaking to the fire remote, it limits its reach mostly to the app that it is in. What I mean by that is if you are watching youtube but then want to go to channel 19.1 to see the news, it will not work. However if you are watching the 19.1 news and want to watch a show or movie that it has indexed in an app, it will open the app that has the media you want and play it. Not really a uniform navigation if you ask me. The price on this model is strange. The 50 inch went for $100 on a special sale for total tech members but this smaller rendition of the F30 oddly hasn’t come close to that price point yet.
