Great budget TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm honestly surprised at how good this TV is. I've bought insignia TV's in the past and was pleasantly surprised with how good the picture and sound quality is with this one. Is it going to look amazing side by side with an LG OLED........heck no. Is it going to be a great budget solution for streaming movies in a bedroom........absolutely!!! I ended up buying multiple and put them in my kids rooms as well Amazon sponsored elements in the UI are a little annoying but not a dealbreaker. I expected worse

Ridiculous value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV was an incredible bargain for $150 on July 4 sale. The picture quality is very good and the Fire TV UI is responsive and easy to navigate. Bought this as a step towards replacing my main 15+ year old 1080i, knowing that my frugal spouse would push back on a larger purchase. Well, she even pushed back on this one, but after hearing the price had no justifiable objections. I eventually got the 65" Samsung QD-OLED (after some intense bargaining) which is now not turning on after 2 short weeks. Glad that I purchased this Insignia so that we have something to watch while waiting for repairs.

First Time Insignia Buyer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent picture quality and fast setup. The TV is also very lightweight making mounting to the wall a snap. Getting set up with Amazon Prime was a piece of cake too since it's an Amazon OS.

Makes a great 4K monitor for a Mac!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a larger monitor for my Mac Mini M1. I had a 32” and while doing photo and video editing, I sometimes would run out of space. For $199, I thought it was worth a try. I actually went to BestBuy in Cuyahoga Falls (OH) and asked if I could connect my MacBook to it via HDMI and they helped me hook it up to the display model. I could immediately see it was a winner. Especially for $199! SOLD! Thank you BestBuy (Howe Road)!!

Nice new addition
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tv for my bedroom. I decided to downsize from a 55 inch tv because I felt it was too big and I needed something updated. I enjoy it and it does what it’s supposed to do. Great sound and picture. Easy setup.

Takes some getting used to
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, it's a good TV. Older Vizio TV had issues with Amazon Prime app and now this TV has issues with the HBO Max app. Have to unplug and plug back in to reset the app so that it loads your show properly (like old TV). Remote in general is not very "hand friendly" and the mute button ought to be someplace else because I keep hitting the Prime or Disney channel button instead. Pain! Sound and picture are good, but operations leaves a lot to be desired. If you have other Alexa devices in the same room, you have to mute them so they don't compete with the TV commands (minor for me).

Good picture, fairly portable if needed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to use this for a meeting because we didn't have a projector for a presentation, and it set up like a charm. The box makes a decent carrying case with handles on each end, and fairly lightweight for an entry-level LED. Picture was very crisp. Only negative for portability is the feet screw into the bottom with conventional screws, so once they're on you don't really want to take them off again.

Awesome living room TV!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV while it was on discount. I will say it is an awesome TV for a smaller living room at the price. I use this TV for watching movies on Netflix and this this thing does wonders. The colors are perfect. The speakers that are built on are great for movies too and not bad for background music if you don't mind the lack of bass. This TV is worth the price, and if its on sale don't wait to buy it!

Good bang for the buck
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I am very satisfied with this 43-inch Insignia. Set up is a breeze. I have it setting on top of my chest of drawers in the bedroom and hooked to my Insignia sound bar. This the 4th Insignia TV we have purchased from best buy. We currently have 3 in our home. The 1st of the 4 we had for approximately 15 yrs. I would prefer more of a centered stand than the two separate legs provided.

Great All Around Smart TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great smart tv! We bought two for my kids’ rooms! They had a smaller (32 inch) older version for many years, exact same tv, still worked good, one started moving a little slower than normal, we just wanted sized up and update their tvs! The picture quality is amazing, my 9 year loves the Alexa on it! We are super happy with our purchase!

Great value for a 4K smart TV!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were happy with our purchase of this TV, but being kind of a budget TV, it does have some drawbacks. First, we have it in our bedroom as we like to have the TV on as we fall asleep. This TV is BRIGHT and the brightness adjustment does not dim it very far down. A brightly lit scene definitely lights up the room! I reallllllly wish we could dim it down more... Second, the viewing angle is pretty narrow - the picture looks GREAT straight on, but degrades quickly when viewing from an angle (all LCD TV's do this, but this one's viewing angle is definitely more narrow than our LG's...). That being said, it is not a problem at all for where we have it, but it might not be suitable for a big room where lots of people will be sitting all around it - just a heads up... Regarding the smart TV features -- we have always been a Roku household, and one of the reasons I bought this model is to try out the FireTV integration for myself. I was pleasantly surprised - it is very well integrated in my opinion. I found it to be intuitive, easy to use, and easy for a long time Roku user like me to adapt to. The bottom line is that it is a great value for a 4K smart TV and I would definitely recommend it as long as you are OK with the brightness and narrow viewing angle limitations. (It would be better - perfect even - for a home office, in my opinion...)
