Customers are saying

Customers love the 43" Class F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV's picture quality, ease of use, and its affordability. Many appreciate the smart TV functionality and the vibrant colors. While some customers mentioned that the remote control could be improved and expressed concerns about the TV's longevity, the positive feedback on picture quality and ease of use outweighs these concerns.

I am very pleased with my purchase. When I was deciding which TV to buy, the chat agent was most helpful, answered all of my questions which aided in making the decision easy. Very fast shipping. My nephew set up the TV in under 30 minutes. The picture is clear, colors are vibrant. Sound is excellent. Overall, I am thrilled that I got an excellent Fire TV for such an incredibly low price. Highly recommend.

I have had this TV for a day now. I think it's excellent! The original picture settings were not to my satisfaction, so I had to experiment with the settings to adjust them. Doing this requires being somewhat tech savvy, but I did not try to adjust the even more advanced picture settings, in case I could not fix things from there. The TV warns you of that too! The TV has so many features, that it makes it very well worth the low price I paid. It even has a web browser, with which to view web pages. You can connect a keyboard with Bluetooth. The volume's bass, treble, balance, and three other volume settings, can be adjusted too. Oh and, if you are not tech savvy, when you first set it up, it gives you a choice of your TV being a simple TV, or an advanced TV. I happened to choose advanced. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't seem to show a full 2160p UHD (4K) picture all the time, when it's connected to the internet via wi-fi, at 37 Mbps. So, I connected it via an ethernet cable and it's fine now. (My internet subscription is at 200 Mbps for upload and download.) Be aware that the tiny screws to attach the stands come in a very small package and they can be lost while opening the box! I almost lost them! Since I have had this TV for only a day, I only hope that it will have durability...

Don't Shy Away From The Insignia Brand

The 4K ultra picture on this tv is not bad. I can't compare it to other 4KU models, but I do see a difference between this and my old 42 Samsung 1080p LCD. I purchased the Samsung back in 2010, and it cost a whopping $1400+, not to mention a little heavier, too. This Insignia is much clearer and lighter, and for the price I paid for it (almost one-tenth), I have no regrets.

    Good TV for its purpose

Purchased as an inexpensive 43” tv for the bedroom. I had no intention of using it as a large room gaming or home theatre system and this review is based on its capability and does not compare it with tv’s in that category, as it won’t compare. I find the picture is good and clear for everything but action sports. But even this isn’t too bad. At 4k resolution, the picture is noticeably better than my other HD tvs, but obviously not the same as higher performance tv’s. The sound is plenty loud but the balance is off a bit. The voices are noticeably lower in volume compared to music and background noises, so when watching sound intensive movies I frequently need to keep adjusting the volume up to hear speaking, but then turn it down for action scenes. IMO this is the only disappointment I have with this tv, as it can be annoying. But for watching regular tv, its not really an issue except for the commercials which always seem sooo loud…mute solves this. The FireTV os take a bit to get comfortable with as it is noticeably different than my AppleTV. Some things I like better with FireTV, like how shows on all of my apps seem to blend in one view…convenient. However, there is SO much stuff, it can get overwhelming and a lot of what is shown, I have no interest in watching. It is very “busy”, which some people may like. AppleTV is better aesthetically, IMO, for my type of use. AirPlay does not work reliably on my tv. Getting it started isn’t always easy, then it cuts out unexpectedly. It isn’t my network, as bandwidth and interference is not an issue in its location…at least it wasn’t with my previous tv. If using Airplay is a need, then note my experience. Overall, for the reasons I purchased this tv, I am happy and I would definitely recommend it for the same purpose. It is not a performance TV so don’t expect that level of quality. But it is still very good. Just wish sound was better balanced and AirPlay worked more reliably.

Greater for bedroom. And Fire Tv platform works seamlessly with displaying my Blink cameras using Alexa. Good color and even sound not bad for tv speakers. Better with sound bar of course.

I've had this TV for a few years now and it's moved homes with me more times than anyone should move in a year. I have absolutely zero issues with it. The picture is great and the sound is just as great. I've yet to replace the batteries in the remote. Very affordable, very nice.

We love the tv. The picture quality is amazing and with it being a smart tv, if I pause a show it goes into sleep mode with a screen saver and then after a short period of time after that it will shut off completely saving the tv from getting an image burned into the screen that you see later down the road when watching it. It can be a pain sometimes, but I actually like the option. I highly recommend the tv, especially for a smaller room - ours is in our bedroom.

You can not beat this TV for the price point. Set up was a breeze. Picture is really good for a cheap tv. We already have a lot of Amazon devices, so it integrated seamlessly. The only "con" I can come up with (and it's so minor) is that I wish the service buttons on the remote could be reprogrammed to the streaming services you use most, as we don't use DirecTV or Peacock.

I was looking for an affordable option to replace my l current living room TV and even though I wasn’t expecting much, I am blown away by the quality of this TV. It has more than exceeded my expectations. I’ve been a Roku user from their start and this is my first Fire TV. Wasn’t planning to use the Fire feature but it’s been easier to navigate than even my Roku, which I hate to say.
