    This tv has a major defect in that after about an hour of idly watching tv it shuts off. It has shut off in the middle of a movie, while playing video games, binging a show…. Basically anytime you’re watching for more than an hour, count on it shutting off. It’s not a sleep timer issue because it’s not set. There’s a screen saver option and I thought that may have been the issue, but after turning that off it still shut down. The only “fix” I have found was to download and use 3rd party apps to essentially hack your smart tv and keep it from turning off. I should’ve read reviews from Amazon, because people have had this issue since 2020 and there’s been no fix from insignia.
