    I'm really disappointed. It's REALLY SLOW, I mean everything from adjusting the volume to changing the channel, even turning it off. Also it doesn't have the cast feature. I wanted to cast from my phn to the TV but there's no option on it to do so. It's ok but I just expected better.

    This tv worked fine for what I needed it for but after 2 1/2 years the backlight went out on it… considered a “fatal issue” that involves purchasing a new tv …. Wouldn’t buy again

    I purchased this TV in October 2023 to upgrade from a 32" Toshiba Fire TV I've owned since 2018 and thought, initially, this Insignia TV was a great value. In March 2025, less than 1.5 years after I bought it, the Insignia Fire TV appears to be defunct. There is audio, I can hear the sound of the cursor moving when I use the remote and Alexa responds vocally when I use that feature, but there is no picture. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, and tried to reset it by holding the power button down for an extended period of time - but no luck. From other reviews it sounds like the backlight is dead - something that shouldn't happen to a TV in a such short period of time. Very disappointing and makes me question the quality of the Best Buy Insignia brand. I love Amazon and am happily involved in their ecosystem and seek out Fire TVs for their easy integration into the ecosystem, but I cannot recommend Insignia Fire TVs if you also prefer the Amazon integration. My Toshiba stills works fine and I will consider other Fire TV brands to replace this poor quality Insignia TV.
