Insignia 43 inch TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV has great sound and picture! Insignia remotes take a bit of learning, but this is my third Insignia TV so it was not an issue at all. And, for the quality and the price, this TV can’t be beat. Very pleased!

Worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tv for the price, very easy setup and great picture. I do wish it had a mode to automatically dim the screen based on the rooms ambient light but other than that its great.

Gift for my brother
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’d originally purchased for my brother as a gift Yo him and he passed away before he could open and enjoy it. I now use this one in my bedroom and it’s great quality, picture and ease to use.

Good bang for the buck!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this insignia 4k tv for my office. Didn’t need anything too big and this 43” was just the perfect size. I caught this tv on a great sale. The picture quality is good and I’m very satisfied. Good bang for the buck!

Disappointed in compatibility with other media.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture. Easy setup. Not completely compatible with Dish TV. I had to get Dish tech support to enable my power button to work. However, the volume and mute buttons are not compatible. This particular model is not included in Dish's list of Insignia TV's. So, I have to use two remote controls for my TV. Also, my DVD player is not compatible with this TV. It worked fine with my old TV with direct wire hookup with HDMI cable from DVD player to TV. Not now. Overall, I'm disappointed with this model. Maybe the other Insignia TV's are compatible. I'll keep this one for now, but I will not buy another one.

Good TV for the price point.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Opened the box and set it up, then turned it on. Had to work its way thru several firmware and software updates once connected to wifi. Setup went OK. Picture looked very good. On par with the name brands, at a lower price. Working good so far.

43 inch tv
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good picture. Easy to operate. Big flaw in channel scan from antenna. It doubles the channels and if you block one of them, you loose both channels. Not sure if it's fixable or not. Wish I had bought a different brand, but it is a good price.

Faulty Remote Reveals Design Flaw of the TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As long as the remote doesn't die on you, this TV is all you hope it would be -- great picture quality for the price, easy to navigate menus and really easy to set up out of the box. But without a working remote, you can turn the TV on with a button at the bottom center of the TV and use that button to change the signal source...and that's it! There is no way to navigate the TV menus or the Fire TV options on the home screen, without a remote. My remote that came with the TV started to overheat (in the front tip and the battery compartment) after about a month of use. So, the TV gets a 2 star rating for less then smart design and poor user interface consideration for things like a faulty remote. And for those that may be thinking of using a soft remote installed on your smart phone, you still need a working remote to navigate the menus to set the tv to accept a signal from another source (like your smart phone) which I did not do before my remote crumped out (because this has never happened to me before!). SO my tv has been stuck at the same blaringly high volume setting for about a week and half, waiting for the new remote to get here. But for Customer Service at Insignia, I would give them a 4 star rating for how they handled my warranty claim. They were quick to respond and get a new remote sent to me (sent out a few days ago and I am still waiting, so it remains to be seen if I will have issues using the new remote). this is a product review of the TV itself, because I was a little shocked that you can't do anything with the TV without the remote. I had to connect an actual fire stick to the tv and change the source to the HDMI connection in order to watch programs...but again, I can't adjust the volume. Remotes are periphery and as such are capable of failure like this, it happens, but should not happen often! Would I recommend this item? yes, as long as the remote is operational....i guess you take your chances for the money

Great TV for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my daughter's room. I bought it for the size and price, to my surprise the picture quality a lot better than expected. It being a firetv I know the apps will work great and be around for awhile, unlike other smart brands.

Makes me want to actually watch tv
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had this television a few weeks now and truly I love it. First it was a big upgrade from a 24inch which has been enjoyable. The picture is extremely clear, the sound to me sometimes is to loud and it’s only at 15 and my games looks absolutely beautiful. I originally brought this tv to be more compatible with my new gaming system but now i’m absolutely enjoying just loving watching television on it as well. The only negative that I have found is that if i pause something to talk on the phone after the screensaver (which is also fun to see) runs all the way through the television turns itself off and I have to turn it back on and reload into what I was watching, I understand that’s to help save power or whatever but it can be a little annoying. Other than that one issue I’m loving my new television

Great value!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded tvs from a 32” screen to a now 43” screen, picture is clear and audio is very good, great tv for the bedroom, the television has great features such as an options menu that is off to the side instead of right in the middle of the screen, the only downside is you have to have an application open to be able to access some of the controls such as brightness and audio, that took me a while to figure out, I’m very happy with my purchase at such a good cost, really get the most out of your money spent, definitely the nicest tv I’ve owned and surpasses Roku tvs by a mile, if you’re thinking about getting this tv, do it. You won’t regret it.

Insignia 43" TV as a 4K Monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia 43" TV is a good deal as a 4k Monitor. I use it daily in my work. The price was good, setup and operation easy, the only quibble is that it keeps wanting to have a wifi connection, and can't connect to my corporate network.

A Smart TV running Fire TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love the Fire TV menu over any other TV I've owned, the picture quality is fantastic and very sharp, the brightness has a big range for different types of pictures and gets more than bright enough to be visible on a sunny day. Overall the cost of the TV (70 inches) is a great value.
