Great TV for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my daughter's room. I bought it for the size and price, to my surprise the picture quality a lot better than expected. It being a firetv I know the apps will work great and be around for awhile, unlike other smart brands.

Great value for a quick TV solution
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TVs keep getting bigger and cheaper, and as long as you're not looking for a crazy high refresh rate or those super deep blacks, this is a solid TV for the occasional show or movie. The FireTV capability build in is super convenient and leaves the HDMI ports on the back free for anything else like a game console, PC, or cable box, or Blu-Ray player. If you're looking for an inexpensive solution without the frills but still has some modern features, this is a great buy. Insignia TVs have gotten better over the years and really eliminates the need to go searching for value-priced versions of top brands like LG or Samsung. Would buy again.

Clear and Fast!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 1080p 32” TV to this 4k model and it’s crystal clear. Has fast built in fire tv and streams without issue. Use it quite often!

Smart TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV because I needed a smart TV so I could start streaming instead of satellite. I have found the picture is a great deal sharper than my old TV. The sound is good and the color is great.

Disappointed in compatibility with other media.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture. Easy setup. Not completely compatible with Dish TV. I had to get Dish tech support to enable my power button to work. However, the volume and mute buttons are not compatible. This particular model is not included in Dish's list of Insignia TV's. So, I have to use two remote controls for my TV. Also, my DVD player is not compatible with this TV. It worked fine with my old TV with direct wire hookup with HDMI cable from DVD player to TV. Not now. Overall, I'm disappointed with this model. Maybe the other Insignia TV's are compatible. I'll keep this one for now, but I will not buy another one.

Makes me want to actually watch tv
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had this television a few weeks now and truly I love it. First it was a big upgrade from a 24inch which has been enjoyable. The picture is extremely clear, the sound to me sometimes is to loud and it’s only at 15 and my games looks absolutely beautiful. I originally brought this tv to be more compatible with my new gaming system but now i’m absolutely enjoying just loving watching television on it as well. The only negative that I have found is that if i pause something to talk on the phone after the screensaver (which is also fun to see) runs all the way through the television turns itself off and I have to turn it back on and reload into what I was watching, I understand that’s to help save power or whatever but it can be a little annoying. Other than that one issue I’m loving my new television

Good tv for good price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive been happy with this TV since i bought it a few weeks. It was a replacement for a 32 inch I lnsignia Fire Tv. Besides the larger viewing size I also got 4k and Hdr in this model which the previous model didnt have. The sound from the speakers seems the same and isnt necessarily a stand out. Adequate but not mind blowing. I can definitely tell a difference in the picture especially when viewing 4k streaming content. It would be nice to have a higher refresh rate but I wasnt expecting more than 60hz from a sub $200 tv. Good smart tv for a great price. I got almost 5 years out of the previous tv before the speakers failed and hope to get at least the same out of this one.

Faulty Remote Reveals Design Flaw of the TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As long as the remote doesn't die on you, this TV is all you hope it would be -- great picture quality for the price, easy to navigate menus and really easy to set up out of the box. But without a working remote, you can turn the TV on with a button at the bottom center of the TV and use that button to change the signal source...and that's it! There is no way to navigate the TV menus or the Fire TV options on the home screen, without a remote. My remote that came with the TV started to overheat (in the front tip and the battery compartment) after about a month of use. So, the TV gets a 2 star rating for less then smart design and poor user interface consideration for things like a faulty remote. And for those that may be thinking of using a soft remote installed on your smart phone, you still need a working remote to navigate the menus to set the tv to accept a signal from another source (like your smart phone) which I did not do before my remote crumped out (because this has never happened to me before!). SO my tv has been stuck at the same blaringly high volume setting for about a week and half, waiting for the new remote to get here. But for Customer Service at Insignia, I would give them a 4 star rating for how they handled my warranty claim. They were quick to respond and get a new remote sent to me (sent out a few days ago and I am still waiting, so it remains to be seen if I will have issues using the new remote). this is a product review of the TV itself, because I was a little shocked that you can't do anything with the TV without the remote. I had to connect an actual fire stick to the tv and change the source to the HDMI connection in order to watch programs...but again, I can't adjust the volume. Remotes are periphery and as such are capable of failure like this, it happens, but should not happen often! Would I recommend this item? yes, as long as the remote is operational....i guess you take your chances for the money

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV for the price. Dark blacks, high contrast, fast UI, decent sound, reasonably sized. No major complaints othed than my personal preference of roku over fire tv but I knew that going into it.

A Smart TV running Fire TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love the Fire TV menu over any other TV I've owned, the picture quality is fantastic and very sharp, the brightness has a big range for different types of pictures and gets more than bright enough to be visible on a sunny day. Overall the cost of the TV (70 inches) is a great value.
