Here and there a little slow to react to remote control inputs, but that has been my experience consistently with FireTVs. Sound is okay - don't expect a surround sound experience, but decent.

I was a hugh fan of Samsung products and now obsessed with Insignia as a comparison

It was on sale and even cheaper for open box. This may have been open, but i dont think it was and if so set was never removed from box. My mom cant say enough thank yous for it. The picture is absolutely stunning! Colors are amazing and brightness is beautiful! Prior to this tv she had a dynex best buy brand tv for 12 years so definitely great quality! Thanks for such a steal on a great product.
