    Not for the bedroom - red light

    The status indicator lights red when your TV is off. This light is the worst thing I've ever seen on a TV. It lights up my entire bedroom at night. The light needs to go off all the time. Don't buy this for anywhere that the super bright red status light will bother you.

    Nice TV, but LED's went out in 3 yrs.

    TV has a nice picture and worked fine until the LED's went out after slightly under 3 years. Durability is questionable, but not a terrible TV for the price.

    It was great the first couple days and then the sound went away on the tv. I called customer support to have it reset and it worked for a couple days and went out again. The only time I can get the sound to come on is when i turn my PS4 on and go to the game channel . Sometimes after I'm done gaming and turn the tv to cable/antenna the cable sound will come on and sometimes it doesn't . Maybe it's a faulty tv. I am taking it back this week it's been a month of problems so I hope Best Buy can help me on replacing it since there return policy is 14 days. I will take the same tv as long as it has sound 100% of the time!

    really disappointed in longevity - normal use, normal conditions, stationary - but no picture only sound a few days after our extended warranty expired - would not recommend

    The TV aspect of it is great but to have sling TV reinstall made it impossible to add APPS that's not approve by SLING. Purchased TV for mother in- law so she can watch Chinese show but SLING is not compatible with app

    This is a good tv for the price. Sound is an issue. Very weak. Speakers pointing backwards. So you will need an additional sound bar.

    It lasted for 2 years and then now it has sound but doesn't show picture. I suggest buying a better brand then Insignia

    Great Tv Until the Wifi went out

    Ive had this Tv for about 7 months now and the Wi-Fi just stopped connecting and I looked it up it on the community boards and its a known issue if you get the 014.30 Error code. I have the insurance on the Tv, which I am glad I got even though I am still within the 1 year warranty. The problem with that is calling up Best Buy Geek Squad and getting an appointment to fix the TV, 2 weeks out and instead of doing an exchange for the TV, they are going to just fix the WIFI board, again a known issue since the Tech just ordered this part. Will be my last Insignia Roku Tv as after looking at the known issues, its best to stay away from Tvs like this.

    I bought this TV on November 2nd of 2017 and it's now November 30th of 2018 and the backlight just went out. I have a 40" that I bought over ten years ago that is still working fine. For a backlight to burn out in barely over a year is inexcusable. I won't be buying anything else from Insignia.

    It freezes up a lot and the picture seems to mess up quite a bit. It does this weird thing where every time I change the channel it blinks

    while this is a beautiful looking tv, it has a couple of problems. The headphone icon randomly appears on its own throughout the day and night, causing the tv to go mute, and I cannot make the sound come back on, or make the icon go away,also the sound is terrible, andmakes a grinding noise, which is horrible

    It's not a bad TV with decent resolution, although for gaming via HDMI the refresh is noticeably slow. A great deal for the price though.

    I bought this tv because of its high review.. I should have known better. All inputs in the TV stopped working within 5 months of buy. Called Best Buy, who then transferred me to Insignia for the repair. Technician came to my house, and repair with what he called the "wrong" motherboard". But the TV worked, so i I didn't give it another thought. 14 months after TV bought, it broke again, but now it's out of warranty. For the technician to come and LOOK at it, is $99... not counting repairs price. DO NOT BUY!! Worst purchase I've ever made. Anything coming out of Best Buy is a dud unless you buy their protection.

    This TV seems good enough for the Bedroom. When you view the screen from an angle, the colors are not as bright as they are straight on.

    I have a 4k tv HDR Dolby Vision capable. Amazing. This insignia I have in my office. And it is ok. Nothing fancy and it was very cheap.
