Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the picture quality, easy setup, price, and Roku TV features of the 43" Class - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR Roku TV. They appreciate the good picture quality, simple setup process, affordability, and the convenience of the Roku TV platform. However, some customers have concerns about the small remote control, short lifespan, screen darkness, limited volume, and lack of HDR.

The Television works with all smart features but the actual screen view does not seem as crisp or new as some other 4 k televisions seen

TV is fine - has 'new tv smell' otherwise works. They offer 30 days of sling - don't fall for it- they charge you after 7 days.

the TV has to be turned up as high as it will go to be heard. The soundbar doesn't help except when your watching a DVD.

WARNING Tv doesn't have HDR, it's a trap!

I am usually satisfied with Best Buy in terms of putting the customer first, but this Insignia product - a Best Buy Only brand - is very deceiving. Don't let the words "Smart" "4k" or "UHD TV with HDR" trick you into thinking this TV's performance is worthy of the titles. For this product: "Smart" means limited to only Roku Apps (no Youtube videos, no Spotify, no web browsing, etc.) "4k" means double (2160) the number of poor quality pixels and finally the worst.... "UHD TV with HDR Roku TV" means it's just improved HD TV with Roku TV that allows HDR if your TV does! This product is NOT HDR, even though it says it in the title. I feel like I've wasted my money on this product, and unfortunately I realized this too late after buying it. "HDR Roku TV" should have a TRADEMARK!

I have owned this TV since July 17. It has been great, but two days ago it died. So the TV lasted 19 months. Products should last longer than this. Insignia, you need to seriously look at your standards. Been a very loyal Best Buy customer since I was an employee. Not sure there is any trust left in the Insignia Brand.

Great TV, Terrible and Very Strong Smell

I have avocations which involve electronics and sometimes I will fix my receivers, guitar amplifiers, etc. which involves soldering. I have just bought two different Insignia model TVs and both have a burning/hot circuit board smell. Smells like the old bakelite from the 1950s (a phenol odor). We have a large house. But the smell is upstairs, downstairs. I aired the whole house out all day yesterday... no improvement. Very strong. Thinking I will have to return this. My wife returns from a business trip today and will wonder why the house is smelled up. She'll probably think something is burning somewhere.

Don't get this TV if you're old school and have no cable. We purchased this for my 84 year old mother who wanted the religious channels. Regular antenna gives poor reception. Remote has no numbers to add additional channels. Couldn't get the channels programed in.
