I cannot believe the amazing picture quality on this TV, the Roku operating system is smooth as butter and this TV also had HDR with the 4K. It has plenty of inputs. Although, I have a soundbar, the TV's speakers are still pretty solid. I can't believe I got it on sale for $299 , which is amazing for a 4K TV for this size. I have it connected to a 4K Blu Ray player , along with 4 K streaming is also fantastic. The TV is also very light as well. LOVE IT ! ! !

    Amazing even after a year.

I bought this TV last year on Black Friday for 300$, and it seemed most logical as I wasn’t trying to drop 500$ for a “name brand” like Samsung. The interface is very easy to learn, the settings are very customizable for even certain apps like Hulu and Netflix. The picture is very very pretty, if you watch planet earth and turn picture on “Vivid” it looks like CGI it’s so surreal. But anyways. After a year, I have had zero problems, there is no decline in quality, if anything I am appreciating it even more since it was such a smart buy!!! Highly recommend for someone wanting a long term 4K TV.

When I began shopping for a new TV, this wasn't the brand I was seeking. However, I'm happy I stumbled upon it because fact is, had I spent more on another TV and then saw this one and it's picture quality, I would of had buyer's remorse. I have found this TV to not only be equal to the competition, but in some cases, better than. You won't find a better TV at this price!

picked this up over a month ago and am very satisfied. Picture quality and angles are better than expected. The one thing that I notice is with is the picture quality on netflix is much better than it was on my x1 box which i returned and went with sling tv and an antenna.

Good Picture, Laggy Interface, Poor Sound

Was fairly happy with the picture. The roku interface was easy to set up but the remote was very laggy and slow compared to a dedicated roku box. The sound was fairly poor, would need a soundbar/speaker system to make this useable.

Purchased this 43" 4k TV on sales last week. Read the reviews and decided to purchase this BestBuy brand. Great picture, easy setup, but the sound is not that good, but most tv speakers are the same. Overall, it is a good TV for the price.

Good quality, features, no direct channel changing

    Posted .

The only way to change channels on a Roku TV is to scroll through a list. You cannot enter a channel number directly, even if you use a universal remote or Harmony remote. Up until the most recent update you could set up a list of favorite channels but the most recent update (Roku 8) eliminated the ability to add or subtract channels from a favorite list. So you can't create a favorite list if you didn't have one before the update and you can't change the favorite list if you had one before the update (although you can eliminate the entire favorite list by unchecking the "Enable Favorite Channels" options in the system settings.) Insignia tech support told me that the "no favorite channel list" was a "new feature in Roku TV version 8.0" - I kid you not. I told him I also just bought a car with the "no heated seats" feature that the salesperson threw in free of charge..

Purchased this tv because I’ve owned insignia before and it never failed me once. It’s replacing a Samsung that I spent a grand on and stopped working after 2 years. Totally recommending this tv or any insignia tv

Software update made my TV unusable - DO NOT BUY

    Posted .

In the interest of being fair, I will say that this TV is a great product at a great price (when it works). The Roku functionality makes it super easy to use from a user experience perspective, and the picture quality is better than average in this price range. HOWEVER, I will never again buy an Insignia TV, nor should you. In the beginning of November 2018, a software update was deployed automatically that caused an issue with the sound quality and also made the internet connection highly unstable. When I turn on the TV, the sound is muffled. To fix the issue, I have to got to the settings window, change the sound mode, then change the sound mode back to "Normal" and the sound is back to sounding fine. As for the Internet connection, it constantly drops while watching streaming services. I have a great fiber connection to my house and an excellent router setup, and have confirmed that the issue is not with my home internet connection. But still, a few times a day the connection drops, and I need to unplug the TV to reset the connection. I have been working with Insignia support for over a month on this, with promises that a software update would come out to fix the issues. Every update that has come out since then has not fixed the issue. I'm still waiting for it to be resolved. This TV is eight months old. It should not be having these issues. Insignia will not replace it despite being within the warranty period. As I said before, DO NOT BUY THIS TV.

Bought this TV strictly for gaming so far works great it went up $50 in price since yesterday when I picked one up. I’ve read that these newer Roku TVs aren’t all that great but I don’t see myself even using the services taking that both my gaming consoles suport all those apps already. With only one day of use so far it lives up to my expectations of it
