Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When we went shopping for TV's for our college student we hadn't even considered the Insignia brand; however after speaking with the Best Buy staff and comparing it against the devices we were contemplating purchasing, we opted to try the Insignia due to the lower price and better features. We like it and we'd purchase another one in the future.

Bought for my son's apt

Awesome price, bought on sale for$299.99 Great TV with all the programming that comes on it you don't need to pay for cable or DirecTv. Makes it very affordable for a college freshman. Especially since he uses my Netflix, Hulu and streams my DirecTv to it directly. Only expense I didn't expect was to buy a mounting kit. Thought it would fit on top of his dresser. Missed it by ______ that much.

Great TV

It was easy to setup. It plays great. I like the picture and sound quality. The only problem was this audio assistant lady that would verify everything your every command and would even start talking randomly. I figured out how to go into the setting to turn her off and everything is good now.

A tv for the new digital world

It comes with Roku built in and allows you to purchase the PlayStation VUE tv streaming service packages that only require internet and not cable. You choose the plan that has the channels you want. Much less expensive than cable. There is a little bit of a learning curve to understand how this works, however, you may think it is worth it once you understand. The picture is also very nice.
