Customers are saying

Customers admire the 43” Class LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV Edition TV for its exceptional picture quality, affordable price, and simple setup process. The Fire TV integration is also well-received. However, some users have concerns about the durability of the TV, with reports of short lifespans and screen issues. Additionally, the remote control could be improved for better user-friendliness, and the viewing angle is slightly limited.

I could not believe how large the 43" screen is! It is huge, to me! And the cost was so low. Being able to pay for my beautiful new Insignia Fire TV over time is wonderful. My old eyes look at the screen and I just want to be able to stay up all night to watch movies, and TV shows, and the news. I am hooked on this tv. Being able to change local channels using Alexa is pretty cool, too, for this old lady! Thank you, Best Buy. I am so happy with the color, the size, the versatility. I don't have cable, but I don't need it with this tv.

I have a 65” Samsung 6series in my living room and was head strong in getting another Samsung, went to best ju and reviewed the insignia and honestly the picture was great. I wanted just a simple tv for the bedroom and planned on buying a fire stick so getting a quality tv with it built in was great. For the price on sale I couldn’t resist. Highly recommend!

We recently bought this TV and have not had any issues with it. Setup was easy and the picture quality is outstanding. The only downside is that you have to sign in with an Amazon account to download apps. This is no biggie but you also have to have a credit card linked to that Amazon account in order to actually download an app that is not pre-installed on the TV. That might be just a petty complaint but if you don't have any intention of buying any content through the TV, it is kind of annoying to set up.

Okay—let’s be honest. This is a budget TV. And it shows when watching dark scenes (or, you know, entire episodes of GoT Season 8...never forget). But for the price, the image is great. We had some issues where it was saying it was running out of internal storage, but I formatted a usb stick and plugged that in. All is well now. ARC and CEC work great with our LG soundbar, and parental controls are easy to manage. No complaints.

I was looking for a slightly larger screen than 32". There is was, an entry level 4K television at 43" with an amazing picture and a price just under $200. The picture is bright and the colors are clear and crisp. There is no blurring when there are rapid camera movements and the sound is great for a simple TV speaker. Access to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video is nearly instantaneous with the dedicated buttons on the remote and adding apps is a breeze. By far the best television value of my life.

Overall it works great. It does what I need, and all the apps I've used have worked well. There was an issue with audio being out of sync when I first got it. But that was easily solved by clearing the cache of the Amazon Video app. Picture wise, it looks good. It's a $200 TV so don't expect anything spectacular. I have not tested the HDR much yet. Do not buy one without the remote. It's not possible to go through the initial set-up without the proprietary remote.

While it won't be the best TV in the store, it's certainly one of the best in the price range. If you like Amazon Alexa/Fire TV products, this is a must. Great quality for the price. The ease of set up and use is quite remarkable. Also, we have a Blu-ray player connected and the Alexa remote automatically paired with the player! No need to use a separate remote to control the Blu-ray player! Could not be happier with this purchase!

I purchased this TV as an open box item and it came without a remote. Wasn't concerned until I got it home and found out that there is no way to set up without an original remote. After days of playing around with a Firestick remote and after loading the Fire TV remote app on my phone, I finally gave up and had to buy the Insignia Fire TV remote for $$$. Once you use the original remote for setup, you can pair the other remotes to it but if you ever have to do a "factory reset" (which I did) you are back to needing the original remote. This may not seem like a big deal but there are other quirky things related to the remote as well. I have a Tivo connected to this TV and the Tivo remote pairs with it (after setup) and permits you to control power on/off, adjust volume and change inputs on the TV, however if you use it to turn power on, within a few minutes you receive an error message telling you that the set cannot find the Fire TV remote and you then have to get the original remote and press the home button for 10 seconds to eliminate the issue. Not a big deal and probably not a big issue for most, but turned into an annoyance for me and thus the deduction of one star. Also, the need to purchase the original remote eliminated just about all the savings I achieved by purchasing an open box item and even if you buy this TV new and you lose or damage your remote, don't plan on buying a cheap universal remote because you will need an original. Insignia or Toshiba remote. Just some things to be aware of.

After a few weeks of using this television, I have to say I’m quite satisfied. Picture is good, the Alexa remote is easy to use, and it’s an all-around good value for the dollar. I replaced a three year old Sony smart television with this one, at less than 2/3 the price, unlike this TV a great deal better. I’m happy with it. It’s a good set, especially on sale, for someone who doesn’t like spending a lot of money on this sort of thing.

Great picture and easy set up. TV controller is not useful for games but there is not another option. Controller has failed twice. Was able to restore use both times by unplugging the TV and letting it reset the controller when you return power. Quite a pain since I don't want to kill all the power to all my AV equipment and my DVR.

Amazing resolution, and easy setup. Sometimes the TV has a hard time connecting to internet though it just takes patience and easy continuous troubleshooting to fix it. Sound is amazing with an extra sound system, and I have tested this put by watching many videos, plus playing video games. It is worth the buy and I have not had any major problems with it yet, also it was a lot lighter than I thought when setting up.

The TV looks and sounds great! We have our new bedroom Fire TV paired with our living room Fire TV Recast... meaning we can record a number of shows simultaneously while watching others, restart shows we've walked in on late, and more. Also, because the TV itself is a Fire TV, it uses only one remote for everything. (Including settings, Netflix, Prime, and other apps.) Makes it much easier. I'd recommend!

The trim around the tv is beautiful and sleek. The picture matches the design and the functionality of the layout let’s you navigate seamlessly. I did have to call tech support in the initial set up because the tv wouldn’t connect to anything. Spent almost 2 hours getting everything reset and added in. Why wasn’t this already done? Oh well. It works great now. And for 220 dollars. You can’t beat it.
