Bought this when my 10 year old Magnavox quit working. The Insignia has both better color and sound than the Magnavox did, just hope it lasts as long. I wanted a TV big enough to see from the next room (kitchen/dining) without being too overwhelming when sitting in front of it, so this size is just right for that. I didn't really want or need a smart TV but can connect a streaming device to this one, so that's good enough for me. A Best Buy employee brought the new TV out to my car and also took the old one off my hands for recycling. Overall, a positive experience.

Picture is gorgeous, sound is great. Setup is easy! It is a great TV for an excellent price!

An AWESOME product. We purchased this TV mainly for gaming, but we love the quality for movies and TV, too! It features several options for picture and sound quality. AND, along with new gaming tech connections, you can attach some of your older gaming consoles, as well! Vivid color, and great sound. I can't believe the deal I got on this purchase! Happy Customer!

I purchased this tv because the one in my room broke I was going to purchase the 40 inch but the 43 was only a couple dollars more it shows beautiful and it’s really loud for a flat screen my only gripe is it’s only 1080p

I was most pleasantly surprised by the quality of the picture that it has when I got this TV installed. Colors are vibrant and the picture is crystal clear. I purchased this TV to install on a screened-in porch which is indirectly exposed to the elements, such as temperature and humidity. With that being said I didn't want to spend a lot on an expensive TV. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is a great TV for the price ,the picture is really sharp & the sound is great also.

I have this 43 inch and a similar 40 inch insignia television. I have both attached to Roku devices and I'm happy with these insignia teles. Great value

The TV was purchased rather quickly due to my mother's TV crashing. It is fair for the price although it does not allow you to control the volume with a roku.

Purchased my TV in June 2020 the top 1/4 of the screen has drastically changed color

What a deal. Great sale price. It does everything I needed, and does it well. If you need more features, it instantly saw my “Smart Stick” in one of the three HDMI ports, and practically setup itself. Now it’s a Smart TV! If you need richer sound, it has a stereo output jack, and a digital sound output too. But I found the sound was good, I won’t need it. It is surprisingly well built and a good looking component, light weight, and thin frame. I’m thinking of easily installing a swing-out wall mount. I’ll probably only use it a few hours a day, so I’m thinking it should last a while.

TV was purchased at a daily promo price ... incredible deal! The first thing you notice upon unpacking is the light weight. It made wall mounting a breeze. The bezel is very thin, so picture consumes almost the entire footprint. Although not 4K compatible, the 1080p image is superb. Onboard sound is OK. Multiple HDMI inputs add real versatility. This set is a GREAT entry level TV/Monitor ... highly recommended.

This Insignia 43" TV was the perfect size for a college apartment, and it was cost-effective as well. The picture and sound are clear, and 3 HDMI ports give plenty of options for video/audio sources. We haven't used the other connectivity options (e.g. coax and composite) and so can't comment on that. Very happy so far (2 weeks of daily use), hopefully it will last many years.

I believe in getting the best experience for the lowest price. I believe this TV was just $159, lower than my tablet or smartphone. But, the picture has been fantastic and it connected easily to my Sonos sound bar. We watched Hamilton! on it and the picture was rich and detailed. Also watched a Blu-Ray movie and noticed an improved picture with the opening 20th Century Fox logo. I would recommend this. One thing I was intentional about and this TV offered...NO SMART TV. Buy yourself a ROKU or other device for streaming video. Oh, and it weighs just 15 pounds.

I bought this for my daughter and she loves the size of this television. It was easy for her to hook up and she love the vividness of the colors. It is very light and has a great affordable price attached to it. I recommend buying this product.

I bought this TV to replace a Panasonic 32 inch TV. This TV is bigger, brighter, and so much better. The picture quality can't be beat. There is not a lot to do to set it up. Take it out of the box, put the TV on its stand legs, and enjoy watching a beautiful clear picture. It even makes watching older TV shows look clearer. The main reason for buying this TV is from the reviews on the Best Buy website. When I bought this set, it was just about brand new, so there wasn't many reviews posted. In looking at other similar Insignia TV's, most people would rave about their sets. I decided to buy it, and am very happy with the purchase. If you are looking for a TV with a top-notch picture, at a good price, this should be the one to buy.

This Insignia 43" LED TV provides excellent picture quality, excellent sound, plus many options that modern televisions have. This is not a Smart TV, though. However, purchasing external devices will allow you to watch YouTube videos, Netflix, streaming, etc. Aspect ratio options are Wide, Cinema, Normal, and Zoom, allowing you to watch the images on the TV in different sizes. Picture Mode options are Energy Savings, Movie, Game, Custom, Vivid, and Standard. The remote control is easy to use. Setup is easy, as is the assembly of the stand. 20 people found this helpful
