I bought this TV because my old one stopped working. This TV is light weight. The picture is clear. Very easy to set up. Would highly recommend.

We got this on a whim, as our other t.v. unexpectedly bit the dust, so I went on-line and found this one. I've been very happy with the purchase so far. I'm seeing colors I haven't seen on previous t.v.s, and the price is fantastic. I also love how little these new sets weigh. I remember my dad, my brother, and me carrying our first 35" into our house several years ago, and now a fairly small child could probably carry this by him/herself. Anyway, if you're in the market for a t.v. this size, this is a solid purchase.

Picture quality is sharp and clear, sound is good too. I bought it on sale so the price is excellent given that this is a 43" HD TV. This TV can be easily converted to a smart TV by buying and hooking up a streaming device like Roku, which I did. That way it works out much more economical than buying a 43' smart TV. The reason I can't give 5 stars is I am using the TV for just about 3 weeks. Trouble free service over a longer period of time is to be seen. Also the power cord is a bit short for my use. I have not wall mounted the TV but placed it on top of my TV cabinet carrying other electronics. TV power cord won't reach the nearest wall outlet. I had to buy an extension cord.

I bought this TV for my Daughter’s room, as a replacement for an older TV, which I wasn’t able to mount on the wall. This TV has a great picture picture for the price! It’s not a smart TV, but can easily become one by adding a streaming device. There are 3 HDMI ports so you can add a streaming device, cable TV and a gaming system. The sound on the speakers is average, and I would recommend using a sound bar if placing this in a living room. The price was $199, but I caught a sale and bought it for $159. This is the 4th Insignia TV I’ve bought, usually fo my kids and Mom. They have all lasted a long time, and I would recommend buying this to a friend.

I am a big fan of the Insignia brand. This TV has many input options, a fantastic picture, and is super light weight. The TV is great for plugging your favorite streaming stick into it or cable box. The TV itself is no frills, but requires you to plug in a good web streaming device to make it smart. If you are looking for a basic TV to plug your Roku, Fire Stick, Apple TV or the like, then this is the TV for you.

Great tv! Picture is very clear and colors are bright! My son is tech savvy and has connected all of his games, computer, and dvd to it. The size is perfect for our needs. It was easy to hook up. My only complaint is that the screws for the tv stand were not included and I struggled to find some to fit it. I am not sure what happened because screws are usually included ☹. That's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, an excellent tv!!

Bought this for my mom-in-law when lightning ruined her tv. It was a really good tv for the price - great value. And she loves it. She said the colors are great, the picture is perfect, and that she is VERY happy with this tv. We also bought her a Rocketfish surge protector so that that won't happen again.

Very very easy to set up looks and sounds great, up and running in an hour. My old tv stopped working and we needed a tv that we could set up and use immediately. perfect

I've had this 43", model # NS-43D510NA21, Insignia TV a year now. Color is great, looks good for movies and gaming. Sound is good. Most importantly, it is dependable. Very happy with purchase and would get other Insignia products now after this experience.

If you are looking at this tv, you likely want a simple HD tv with a good picture and good sound (this is not a smart tv or 4K). If you get this, that is what you'll get. There are some comments critical of the picture quality, but once you get the settings right, the picture is fine. You may want to turn off the 'Dynamic Contrast' (under the Advanced Settings) before adjusting the other picture settings to your liking. To me, this gave the picture more detail. The sound settings allow you to adjust the bass and treble to whatever you want. It appears to have a good OTA tuner, if you intend to use an antenna for local broadcasts. There are 3 HDMI jacks so you can hook up your Roku or other such device if you use one. Overall, pleased with the purchase.

I purchased a 50" Insignia a number of months past and have been extremely happy with it. This 43" Insignia replaced an older TV and I am just as pleased with it. The price, features and quality are wonderful and I look forward to long relationship with both TVs. Thank you!

I have now purchased five of these between myself and gifts , they last forever , very user friendly......just wish they would go back to the roku format , instead of firestick, aside from that, these are my go to tvs

This tv is so basic but it has great picture and allows me to watch channels in HD without a problem. I love it. I hooked my Apple TV up to it and the everything in HD shows up really well. Great choice for a cheap price.

Bought this TV at a fantastic price. Didn’t need all the smart TV functions as we have been using it with an Apple TV and it has been great! Easy to set up and is a great basic TV. Great purchase,

This TV is great for watching in a lighted room. Dark rooms create a darker picture. The sound quality is average but the price for what you get overall is excellent.

No this doesnt have wifi smart programming but when you already have a roku device and just want to upgrade from a decade old tv it's perfect! Light weight to easily mount great volume and good picture quality.

Fantastic picture, easy set-up, VERRY WELL protected for shipping. 43” for under 175.00, is a great deal! You will need a sound bar, the built in speakers sound like 1990 laptop speakers!
