Customers frequently mention the 450-Lumen LED Light Bulb's brightness, energy efficiency, and safety features. Many customers appreciate the warm natural light it provides, while others highlight its low energy consumption compared to traditional bulbs. Some customers also feel that LED bulbs are safer than coil bulbs. However, a few customers have noted a buzzing sound, even when the bulb is not on a dimmer switch.

Nice soft white color and saves energy too. Too soon to determine bulb life.

I happened to see this on a clearance rack and it was so cheap I bought the rest of what they had and they work just as good as the name brand ones and performance is great.

This bulb was bought to replace a CFL in a bedroom light. The CFL's never light up right away which was annoying. Bought this on a daily deal and it's a great bulb that will save me money in the long run.

Good performance for the price, good light emission, just be careful to not put them too close to hearing range, as they have a slight hum.

These light bulbs were on sale when i iced them up and they weren't bad at all. The color of the light they give off isn't bad either.

After hearing about the danger of the last new bulbs having mercury and so dangerous if they break I was very glad to find these.

The energy efficiency of these bulbs are what attracts people to them so I was pleased with that aspect, however, the light is darker or illuminates less brightly than I prefer.

if it were not for the clearance price I would have brought this back day one. They hummm until the warm up...about five minutes and do NOT dim....which is why I bought them in the first place. Would not recommend or buy again.

Worth the high cost

I just went through the math comparing this bulb to a 40W incandescent. Total cost over 25000 hours came to $39 for the LED bulb versus $117 for the incandescent. This bulb makes sense if you'll use it for its full lifetime of 25000 hours, which takes roughly 23 years at 3 hours per day. It makes a lot less sense if you'll use it for only a few thousand hours before moving somewhere else.
The bulb is rugged, it runs cool compared to an incandescent, the light is an appropriate warm color, and I didn't notice any noise. Keep in mind that one's ability to hear drops with age, so it's possible that, just like old TVs, it has a high frequency buzz that young ears will notice while older ears will not.

Have Replace CFL bulbs with these bulbs

I have replaced 3 fan lights which use standard bulbs, one has 3 bulb, 1 has five and the other has 4. These bulbs come on instantly. I have had no humming on the 450 lumen bulbs but the 800 lumen of the same company is enclosed and it hums. Had other LED bulbs that were more expensive and hotter this one is cooler than a standard bulb but will get hot after a while.

I have used these bulbs all over my house for about two years now and they have been perfect lighting not too bright and not too dim. Love them and they help me save on the power bill.

Looks Nice, Color not Warm, Buzzes

I really liked the look of the bulb, it's well designed as a standard incandescent bulb replacement. I thought the price was fair, so figured I'd give it a try. The reason I am providing feedback is two-fold:
1) When I replaced 3 bulbs in my dining room light, I could not get over the audible buzzing sound. The loudness of the buzzing depends on the dimmer setting, but did not go away at any setting - including full-on,
2) The color temperature of the light was not warm, or at least anywhere near the 2700 I was expecting. I don't have the equipment to test the actual color temp, but I will say a "warm" CFL is closer to the indandescent I was replacing.
