Well priced and so far trouble-free, this power supply 100% meets expectations; no frills but no trouble. Cables are long enough and seem to be correctly installed, powers a decently power-hungry system with no issues. Would buy again.

Bought this to replace the power supply in an older desktop computer. Very simple installation, more power and quieter than the one it replaced. It has both Sata and Molex connectors. Highly recommended if you find yourself having to replace a power supply.

Works great, great price, more plugs on cable than were on the original power supply. This went into a Dell desktop where the plugs were angled and flush, and the plugs on here aren't angled and can't close the case all the way, but not a big problem.

It powers up everything i have with no problem. It was quite the task cable managing it but with some creativity it ended up looking very nice. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable but powerful psu.

It's a basic power supply, nothing fancy about it. The supply itself doesn't win looks but it gets the job done. The inside is easily visible and looked like a mess in my model. Over the last few weeks, it has run without any issues. If you want to save $5 it isn't a bad choice. But if you have the extra cash buying from a reputable brand is usually safer.
I also wanted to mention this line from the product description: "It produces 450W for better game and program performance" I personally do not believe having more wattage is going to increase performance at all.
Overall the 4 star's is more about looks, presentation, and the description, then the performance. If this supply suits your needs, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

I used this power supply to replace one that failed in my HP. This should work for your application 450 watts or below. My old power supply was 300 watts so this has a little extra power if I want to add anything else. Great price for a 450w power supply.

Great PSU Very Quiet Works as Expected! The psu came in a box with manuals etc. The PSU fit in the case just fine and had more than enough extra cables to meet my needs. For the price, it truly is a good value

Very reasonably priced and reliable power supply unit. It has all the connectors you are likely to need for a standard PC. The larger fan helps it to stay cooler and run quieter.

Great value for price vs. performance. Have used them before and works every time. Would not use in high end machine but great drop in replacement for average or older machines. Gives new life to machines that have a power supply fail - very common event especially when rebuilding an existing machine.

So, the day before Christmas (and all through the house), the power supply on my computer caught started smoking. This happened at 11:00 at night, so there was no place open to buy a new one. Not only that, one of my daughter's Christmas presents was a PC game which she was now not going to be able to play on Christmas day. No biggie, I suppose, considering that she had other gifts that occupied her time.
So, the day after Christmas I went to Best Buy, and this PSU was the cheapest one they had, and it provided enough power to do what I needed my old desktop to do (play The Sims).
Are there better deals out there...sure. 600 watt power supplies go on sale all the time for not much more than this, better known brands, too. So far, though, this one has done great, and it's been a lot quieter than my old one (which, admittedly sometimes sounded like a jet engine).

I bought this PSU because of the high ratings and low price online. I just needed something for a budget PC build. being 80 Plus rated was also a nice bonus, as you don't see that really with any power supply in this price range so that was a good piece of mind. However when I got the unit, you can tell the guy who assembled this box did not know how to work a screw driver because the cage was crooked and would not fit in the case. No big deal, I just adjusted the screws so that the frame of the unit fit evenly, but someone with little to no knowledge (although I suppose those types of people aren't building PCs) would have just RMAed the device and gotten a new one. Just FYI, look for the build quality of these when you get it. That being said, it runs quiet and does what i need, so i would probably buy again.

I've purchased probably about 10 of these over the past couple years and haven't had any issues. Price is comparable to other 450watt PSU's. They've been my go-to power supply when replacing the PSU on most home computers as well as budget to mid-range gaming computer. There's plenty of cables for connecting multiple SATA and Molex drives and the cable lengths have never been an issue with being too short.

My new 450-watt power supply upgrade is just what the doctor ordered. This has more than enough juice to power up a new enhanced video card on my desk top. System running smoothly.

This power supply (Insignia 450w) replaced a functioning 300 watt power supply. The upgrade was essential to adequately power some additional subsystems added to my computer (SSD Drive and others). Overall, it has worked inconspicuously and well for the past year, doing everything a power supply is supposed to do. The unit was reasonably priced and seems sturdy, so I can recommend it for those who are upgrading their systems and need more power than the OEM power supply provides.

Far superior to the Apevia it replaced (which only lasted 15 months). Very quiet. Able to get an open-box-unit price, so even better.
