This tv is amazing for the price I paid way back when, I can only imagine it is cheaper and just as good now! Buy it!

We were looking for a new budget-friendly TV for our small living room. This TV doesn't have any fancy features, but the picture delivers. We use streaming boxes, Blu-ray players and other devices for our web-connected video so a smart TV wasn't a priority for us. This TV looks great in our room. It's easy to operate, and the picture quality is good. There's one thing I've noticed: the local dimming to enhance black levels is sometimes a bit jumpy. A good example is when there is a black screen and rolling white credits. As the white scrolls, the blacks won't always stay true black. For me, that's a minor inconvenience for a good TV with a good picture.

Overall this is a great tv to own. the picture is clear, it's easy to setup, it's got a sleep timer button so you don't have to go through the menu. Plus, this brand is at a fair price.

Well worth the price... bright picture, clarity and quality good for the price. Audio could be a little better in quality, but is adequate and can be improved with a speaker system.

We bought this TV to replace our projection model that finally went out. The TV came out of the box and was completely programmed and ready to go in 30 minutes. It has an impressive number and type of connections and is currently on composite, recommended as the best picture from our cable provider to their HD/DVR. However, when we power the system on in the morning, we have to turn the TV on and then off again and back on in order for the picture to come through without being "frozen". Would recommend if you're on a budget, but if you have the wherewithal I'd say spend a little more and buy a "name brand".

This was my first time buying anything on Black Friday. What an awesome deal for a 46" Flat Screen with HD. This was a huge upgrade coming from my very old 32" Sony tube tv (which was bulky & very heavy). My family loves it!

I got this TV as a black friday deal, and it was a pretty good deal for it, Tv works great with my Xbox One and the picture quality is amazing! i'm glad i invested in the insignia, wasn't sure at first but it's a good brand.

This is a great tv set for a great price. Picture is high quality. It was really easy to set-up. Has 3-4 HDML connections which is great as these are best quality. It only allows 1 VGA connection however so if you want to link it to cable and a device you will need HDML cables.

I purchased this TV for my folks as a Christmas gift and was pleased with how easy it was to set up. They were thrilled with the picture quality and gorgeous colors. My mother even paused commercials to make my father look at the screen detail! Excellent value for the money!

We purchased this for our loft that is used as a workout area and kids play room. I got a great Black Friday price and was a little iffy about an off-brand TV but we are very pleased for what we use it for. The kids watch TV and play the XBox and the picture is pretty good. We use it while on the treadmill and have to turn up the volume very high to hear it, but that may just be because our treadmill is loud. I think for normal use it was a great purchase and we love BestBuy's Geek Squad protection and financing options.

Great tv with good quality picture, love the size too!

I originally was looking to get another Samsung tv for my living room and ended up finding this tv on sale. After looking at the picture quality I actually found that I preferred this tv over the others in the store. It's a great tv for the price. It has more hdmi inputs then the comparable models, which was an added plus. It was easy to setup and in very happy with my purchase. The only feature which I wish was different is the tv base; it's stationary and therefore doesn't swivel.

I purchased an Insignia 46 inch TV about 4 years ago and was extremely happy with it. So much so I decided to go out and get another one when I needed an additional TV. This device has both lived up to and exceeded my expectations. The colors are clear and sharp, and the sound is well rounded. Compared to the slightly older device, it's maximum output level has been increased substantially while still maintaining a high level of quality! I highly recommend this TV to anyone that is looking for something in this size and price range.

I had a 50 inch plasma prior to this which was extremely heavy. When it failed I researched different options and found this TV. Price, ease of use and light weight, plus great picture makes this TV a tremendous value.

I bought the tv for my mom for Christmas and she couldn't be happier. She loves the picture, size, and sound of the TV. But it's my mom she can't notice the subtle differences. The size is great, and the sound is okay compared to sound of my surround sound. I enjoy the features but I can't describe about the picture quality because doesn't have any HD channels or any HD devices in her house. But overall good TV for the price.

Great basic HD TV. Not a lot of features, but the price is great! Especially if you are connecting to an external sound system or sound bar. The stand is fine for us, but if you grab the TV to move it, you realize the stand is cheap plastic and appears would not take much to knock it over. Would use caution where small children have access. Otherwise great HD TV for the price. Would buy again and recommend to others.

This t.v. is great! We're in our very first apartment with our very first t.v.and we are very pleased. It was easy to set up and had good picture and sound.

Worked for 7 years, decent tv. Had it hung in our bedroom and worked fine... nothing fancy.

This television was bought during Black Friday and since we have had it, it has worked well and shows a clear, sharp picture even when not on an HD channel and has good sound. This television is worth the price. The only problem with the television is the wobbly base that had to be attached with screws. I wish the base had been built into the frame of the television.
