Instead of buying a computer monitor i reccomend buying the insingnia tv as your monitor. One can be purchased for just over $200 and it make for a large computer monitor. This is a tv but for the price you can watch your videos or look at photos on a big screen it makes for a luxury when doing so. You still have full use of the HD tv. You just need to use one of the HDMI ports for this option. This is just another option available at a great price.

Didn’t need a smart tv since I have Apple TV and my old TV died. This TV provides a good size at a very good price. It’s not a high end TV; it has some color issues and only a 60 refresh rate but it does the job! Easy to set up, good sound and plenty of HDMI ports. Couldn’t do better at this price!

Got this on clearance for $200. Really excellent display, very crisp and great options for different settings. Has 3 HDMI inputs, I run Roku, Chromecast and a PS4 on it. PS4 games are incredibly detailed and sharp on this display. No lag or blur on fast action either. The only thing I will say is if you watch standard definition 720p television broadcast on this you will notice the sharpness degrades BUT this is NOT the fault of the tv, it's the fact that I run antennae for broadcast tv and in Ramsey not all the digital signals for 1080p Hi-Def are received out here, so I have to default to their 720p broadcast. It's a 49" display so you will see slight pixelation on low quality broadcast. Netflix, Amazon, DVD's etc are razor sharp on this display. Bottom line, if you already have ROKU, Chromecast, or other streaming devices, this TV will more than suffice! It also has digital audio out for easy soundbar application which I prefer, although the built-in speakers are really good. I prefer the thump of soundbar and sub-woofer. BUY THIS before they are sold out, it's on clearance, and a bargain. Very few if anything is really available on 4k UHD so save your money and buy this!

I bought my Insignia 49in tv in 2018 and it’s still work good. I didn’t want a big tv, just a medium size tv for my bedroom and this fit perfect. When I bought the tv, I have never heard of the brand Insignia , but to my surprise it was a great buy.

This TV is a great value. The picture is good, it is very easy to operate, feature and functions are adequate, all for a low price. This is the second Insignia I have purchased. I bought this second one because the first one continues to work well.

Excellent picture quality. Husband had no trouble attaching legs to the tv. Box opening video instructions very helpful. Really good buy for the money.

We were needing a backup tv for gaming since we already have a smart tv. It was the perfect size and great price for us. Sound and picture is great.

I bought this for my office at work. I was basically going to use it for meetings or to run movies throughout the day or when I was working late to watch sports. So I didn't want to spend a lot. Pros: The picture is really good... sharp/bright. The sound is very good for internal speakers. Good range/deep base. Cons: The blacks could be a bit darker and the refresh rate isn't the fastest. If your looking for a set for an extra room or office and don't want to spend a lot - I can say this is a good option

Got this television as an extra 1 when it was on sale for $200. Couldn't be more pleased. It isn't smart television but we use it with our Xbox which has all available apps that we need to watch all kinds of Over the Top content. I own two other Insignia TVs for over a year And they have held up well considering the low price I have paid for them. Would highly recommend in the budget class.

Wanted to upgrade 8 year old TV in my bed room. Probably a little big but for the price, what the heck. I did not need "smart" stuff, I have Apple TV, Chrome Cast so it works great for me. What I did not expect was good sound. This may be a house brand item but picture and sound quality are great and more than one would expect in this price range.

I bought this expecting a bare bones HDTV, and it is, but what sets this apart is the price point and the firmware. The audio and picture are very customizable and works well with external audio systems. Also, the "Favorite Channel" menu accessible from the remote is really handy which allows you to assign digital television channels to a TV displayed menu so you don't have to flip through tons of channels.

Good size, picture quality and price for the money.

Bought the basic 49-inch 1080p LED for my mom. She already has an Apple TV and FiOS so I just had to hook it up and voila! Screwing in the stand took some muscle but was doable in a few minutes. The picture quality was pretty good (B) and the sound was decent (B-). I’d consider getting a soundbar later, but for now, the quality is not bad at all. It certainly isn’t a Samsung, but overall it deserves 4-4.25 stars. However, considering the sale price (under $250) and quality, 5 stars seems appropriate.

Very easy to set up and hook up cable box and Blu-ray player. The details in the movies and the daily news is remarkable. I especialy love the sleep timer. I can set the TV to turn off in 5, 10, 15 ,30 minutes up to an hour or more.

I was hesitant at first just because of the brand name but this tv has surpassed my expectations! I use this tv for my security cameras and the clarity is fantastic! I honestly didn’t expect to get a picture like that for the price that I paid.

It was a good deal so I bought it. Shows nicely and was easy to connect to firestick. I've had it for a couple years now and there have been no issues.

I already own the 55” version of this same full hd tv and love the pucture quality so much, i just had to buy this 48” version for my girlfriend. Such a great price and she absolutely loves it.
