The smaller unit owned by my friend is completely silent at this speed.

The first one ceased to function after 14 months. The other 2 are still working at 18 months. The change filter indicator seems to work strictly on time and not actual filtering deterioration.

I still see dust on furniture,after I cook the aroma still lingers for hours and when the filter replacement light came on after 4 months of use I barely see dust on the filter. I got my vacuum and ran across the filter,put it back in and reset the light. That filter looked brand new with the exception of a very light coating of fine dust. No way will I purchase a $60 filter every 4 months.

I mostly use it during allergy season and whenever I’m cooking. I like that it has a sensor to detect the air quality level. The only thing that I wish was different is the sleep feature. When sleep is active the lights turn off and the fan speed is at the lowest level. I wish sleep simply turned off the lights and allowed me to set the speed independently. If I want to run it at a higher speed, I have to have the display on.

The pet dandruff and just dust everywhere was killing me, but as soon as we put this in our bedroom there was a drastic change. I also enjoy that when I blow out a candle it immediately gets to clearing the air. I would absolutely recommend this to any pet owner.
