I was looking for a small freezer and this was the perfect size and a great price. Freezer stays nice and cold. Plenty of room.

We bought this to store more frozen foods due to the current situation globally and have made great use of it. It is always ice cold and we have had no issue storing quite a bit of frozen foods in it. Even having it be in the garage, which is not air conditioned, has not proved to be an issue and everything is always perfectly frozen. Great value for the price over other non-house brands and.

Chest Freezer - White Model: NS-CZ50WH6SKU: 8390036 Review: Purchased June 22, 2018 Things to take note of: After purchasing, let the unit sit upright for the good part of a day- allows cooling system fluids to properly settle. Before plugging in, make sure the freezer adjustment control is set to off. Plug the unit in any 15 amp receptacle. Do NOT use a GFCI receptacle on any freezer or refrigerator, as sudden changes in current, as when the compressor turns on and off may trip it, and say goodbye to your food. Once plugged in, adjust control to 6 o'clock (medium). This seems to be plenty cold for this unit. Check the temperature with a freezer guage, under $10 most places. The unit does come with an on indicator with a nice blue glow. Note, don't get too caught up in getting a larger freezer because it is only $20 more. Go by what you need. I can see I will almost never fill this freezer, and an empty freezer serve no purpose. I put a 25 pound turkey on the bottom, and I'm guessing I could fit five more. Perfect size and will fit in tight places; 28.75" Wide x 21" Deep x 33.5" High. Unit is quiet most of the time. A slight but noticeable hum when compressor kicks in- not a distraction. Keep in mind that all of these promotional freezers are coming off the same assembly line in China regardless of brand. Best Buy purchases container loads just like Haier/GE and Frigidaire do. That is why the models look virtually the same. It is also why availability is hot and cold. Best Buy can't simply stock these all of the time, because of changes in cost. Containers come in, and they quickly sell out, so there are delays in availability. Get one while they have them!

This has been running non-stop for over 2 years as I'm writing the review. A small amount of frost has built up at the top of the unit, but no where near what I would have thought on a "value" unit like this. Keeps things frozen, good size when space is limited. I don't regret the purchase as it's helped us buy in bulk and store items for later use while leaving us space for more commonly used items in our standard freezer/fridge.

We have a larger chest freezer at home, but staying in an RV away from home doesn't give us much room! This chest freezer is the PERFECT size, with consistent temperatures, and takes up very little space!! We can now purchase more than 2 days worth of meals to cut down on trips to the stores. We can't always plan around "meat sales", so..... an additional freezer is a MUST HAVE in our household. Especially in light of our current Covid-19 issues. Very thankful we have it! I MUST mention the Best Buy Customer Service Rep that we worked with. He was FANTASTIC!! I'm not sure what type of training they receive, but they absolutely stand apart from other sales associates and store employees. Out of all of our visits and purchases from Best Buy, every single employee has not only helped us get the very BEST product for our needs, but also made sure we got the very BEST price for it as well!! I HIGHLY recommend this store, Wouldn't go anywhere else! Seriously, don't just take my word for it. Get equally amazed! It's a really great feeling to walk out of a store feeling "good" about spending money. I know this was the best place to put our paycheck.s, from the TV's, Washer, Computers, Freezers, and everything else we've purchased over the years. We are equally committed to them, because they're so consistently great to us!

Great product for the price and The pickup was easy. The product was not as heavy as I assume but It was a team effort to get it up a narrow 3rd floor walk up, but once again, not as difficult as I first thought. Its the perfect size for my small apartment and after cleaning it was getting cold within 20 minutes of plugging in. Fits a significant amount of food and I already have over 70 lbs of meat in it.

I bought this chest freezer because I needed additional space for my breastmilk. My husband picked up the chest freezer from Best Buy, but after standing it up for 24 hours prior to plugging it in, it still did not work. I returned the freezer to the store and purchased another freezer, but with them delivering it to me. We plugged it in immediately after installation and it began to cooldown instantly. It's well worth the price (139.99). I've currently got 1206oz stashed away with plenty of room for more!

I needed a new freezer asap, as the one I had was leaking water. I searched online and found this one for a great price which was actually cheaper than the smaller 3.5 size. We fit it into our trunk with no problem and hooked it up as soon as we got home. it immediately started to get cold and we haven't had a problem with it at all. Great freezer with an even greater price.

We have paid for the freezer already by the savings on whats in it. We look for sale meats and have loaded up. We should have done this years ago. Freezer itself even on half setting has everything brick frozen. Unit is not too big for our small apartment. This was a great buy for us. Best Buy people at the store were very helpful including loading it in out SUV.

I needed a freezer for extra stotage but didn't want something too big, neither too small. Also, I didn't want to spend a lot. I happened to go to best buy and this freezer was on sale! The reviews where very good and the size looked perfect. Well, I got it and when I saw it, it was just PERFECT!!!! It is light weight, easy to install ( basically just connect it) and it works great!

This freezer is the perfect size for what I need. It's big enough to keep me stocked on meats while fitting snug in my garage. I like to buy the family size trays of chicken wings and I can stack about 20 of them in there. It runs great and it's not loud or anything so I'm completely satisfied so far.

I received this freezer recently, so I can't speak for long term use. From the past few weeks, I've noticed it keeps to temperature consistently and isn't too noisy when it turns on, which is good. Looks clean and fits great in our spare room. I think the best feature about this freezer is that the things I put in it are staying frozen. That matters most.

Does not take up much room outside and is spacious inside. It comes with a small rack to put on the side which is great for glasses or smaller Thi us to store. It could use another basket or shelving type of thing to make more use of the room you are given instead of piling stuff on top of each other. But for the price it is a great buy

I like the size and the weght. It was easy to carry. the freezer has been working fine and it fits into the corner of my kitchen.

We were looking for a small freezer to fit into an apartment and this one fit the bill perfectly. It doesn't take up much space, but it holds a lot of food. So far it works great and we got an excellent deal when it was on sale! This was perfect, and I highly recommend if you are looking for a small freezer this will do the trick!

Bought this freezer as a Christmas gift for my mom and she loved it!! Inside is very spacious and is not loud at all I think my regular refrigerator is louder it was a perfect fit for the small space we had for it lightweight and we have no complaints definitely would recommend!

The Insignia 5.0 CU FT Chest Freezer is just what I wanted. Great price, inexpensive to run and holds a lot of freezer items -- much more than I anticipated. It was also easy to move, light but sturdy. Would buy it again in a heartbeat. Delivery service was also great!

Unit is light enough that 1 person can move it by themselves, quiet, adjustable temp. We were just looking for a little more freezer space than our fridge had and this was s great option. For the first few hours after turning it on and cooling down the lid was hard to open, but once it reached its temp it was fine.

On sale for $119 with free delivery for holiday season. On sale again for $109 so Best Buy gave me $10 credit. Using in garage and the extra freezer space comes in handy without taking up much room. Quiet. Bought this based on other reviews and previous experience with Insignia brand.
