Seems to work just fine. Quiet, with more than enough room to spare. One minor concern; I dropped a bag of I've inside and it dented the the metal foil interior.

I rolled the dice that it was just a web error after finding the user manual online and confirming it was a true freezer. I'm glad I did. It works perfectly.

Second Time....Seems Great

For my first one, I got a dud out of the box. But, as luck would have it, I was able to get another one. After a couple weeks, I can say it has been running very well...so well in fact, that we had to turn the thermostat down. While I am pleased with this freezer, I remain disappointed that I had to pay to have the second one delivered. I would have been happy to have picked it up but couldn't. That's an extra $70 to have a small item delivered. It seems Insignia or Best Buy should rebate that given I had to do my own warranty servicing. After my first bad experience, I did end up buying the service plan. I don't usually buy these, but as another reviewer suggested, it seems like a wise investment on this one.

At night there’s a blue glow at the base of the appliance so you won’t stub your toe I can put a couple weeks worth of meat , shredded cheese , veggies and fruit purées for a family of six, so the only thing in my modest refrigerator are ready to eat treats for the fridge watchers Good deal.

Set up was extremely easy; that in addition to the manageable weight of the freezer make very easy to install.
