It is very quiet and freezes food quickly on the mid setting and keeps it frozen without going on the coldest sub zero setting. I have only had it for about 2 weeks but I am very satisfied and would recommend it to any potential customer.

Great way to increase freezer space

It sits about 8 feet from the chair I usually sit in, with nothing in between. Don't hear it running if anything else is making noise (TV, Dishwasher, Ceiling fan, refrigerator). Only down side is not frost free, but so far not a problem. Paid for half of it with BB points, so great value.
