My friends bought one and theirs also was damaged. The package was fine but the freezer has a dent in it which means it probably happened at the factory prior to boxing up.

Deep freezer

Gets really cold but size is ok....

I like to collect frozen meats and goods when they are on sale and store them. I feel like for myself I need at least maybe a 7.0 cu/ft. Thought i would give this one a try but just didn’t fit the bill. Personally for my needs. But for the average person this maybe for you. Idk. Overall it’s a good unit gets to about a max of -11 Celsius. Really quiet. Will be looking to exchange if possible for a bigger unit. Thanks!

Good size but arrived damaged

I tried many times to get this rectified with customer service but was shifted around, and disconnect several times after waiting for a total of 2 hours on the phone. It is a good size but the interior basket caused damage on the inside of the lid. I would recommend this as a supplemental freezer for a small space but know if you have any issues Best Buy will not help you.

I purchased the freezer and brought it home to find it was dented in the lower left corner. Dented to an extent it wouldn’t stand straight up. Best Buy scheduled a replacement, but the new one from the truck was also dented in the same way! I went to the store today myself to get a third freezer and it was also dented in the exact same way! They are not packed with enough styrofoam around the bottom corner, or maybe a batch of them were mishandled! Three freezers from three different Best Buy stores all dented in the same way! Unfortunately the other brands are on 3-4 week back order. Best Buy has been good about it so far, offering replacements and refunds. But it’s a big hassle to deal with and I just want a freezer!

Great freezer for extra food storage

Damage deep freezer

Inside handle of deep freezer was damage and the outside corner had a dent at the bottom. Customers service rep offered 10% credit and advised item arrived from the warehouse this way.

Moreover, it doesn’t freeze well as in many occasions I could see the fruits were leaking from the bag they were kept it.

Broken Turning Knob...straight out of the box!

I used curbside pickup which was pretty awesome. However, once I got it home I waited 6 hrs before attempting to plug it in. Well I never even made it to the plugging in part because when I tried to turn the knob to the off position it just swirled around loosely. Then I remembered one of the reviews I had read with the same problem! Sure enough when I pulled the knob out (which it was already practically hanging) the inner piece was broken. I’m returning it tomorrow! This is so disappointing!

Small freezer

Highly upset about Bad deep freezers

Exchanged it. Waiting a few days for the replacement to come in. Got the new one and it was bent. Both of these were supposed to be new and they were both bent and damaged. Tried to call and get it replaced or get my money back. Couldn’t never get through to anyone

Passing off a used item as new!!

The underbody is mangled a corner is buckled plastic missing from one of the latches screws missing!! This had to be used and passed off as new! I’m so completely upset as I’ve been spending a lot of money with Best Buy lately and I don’t think I will be anymore

Light inside is not working.

Damaged deep freezer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just picked up my order yesterday and this is how my freezer looked when I opened it up last night! Like if someone was throwing the thing around in the warehouse or something. Unbelievable, I will now have to drive 20 mins out my way to go back and exchange for another one, which they better have, cause this is the only closest location that has them in stock. I haven’t been able to even use the thing, not happy at all.
