    Once we got the item home and removed it from the box, there was a large dent on the side, 2 days later the regulator knob broke, now we are unable to regulate the temperature.

    I ordered one and it was bent up really bad by the power panel on the back. Exchanged it. Waiting a few days for the replacement to come in. Got the new one and it was bent. Both of these were supposed to be new and they were both bent and damaged. Tried to call and get it replaced or get my money back. Couldn’t never get through to anyone

    I was so excited to get this freezer! But when I opened it I was shocked! The underbody is mangled a corner is buckled plastic missing from one of the latches screws missing!! This had to be used and passed off as new! I’m so completely upset as I’ve been spending a lot of money with Best Buy lately and I don’t think I will be anymore

    Light inside is not working.

    Damaged deep freezer

    I just picked up my order yesterday and this is how my freezer looked when I opened it up last night! Like if someone was throwing the thing around in the warehouse or something. Unbelievable, I will now have to drive 20 mins out my way to go back and exchange for another one, which they better have, cause this is the only closest location that has them in stock. I haven’t been able to even use the thing, not happy at all.

    Did curbside pickup and the box looked okay on the outside. Got it home and it had a giant indent scratch right on the front. Now if I want a replacement I have to somehow figure out how to box this back up and load it back up. Pretty crappy best buy. Should have went elsewhere.

    I’m so disappointed I bought this during the cyber deal only to get it and see that it’s damaged. There needs to be some sort of quality control when items are returned because there absolutely no reason why this was accepted and put back to sell at full price

    Th e box had no damage to it when it was picked-up from the store. It must have been damaged at the factory and still put into the box. It is missing 2 of the leveling legs as well. I would hope that Best Buy sees this and provides the missing legs, along with compensatation for all the damage.

    I really wish I could love this freezer. I bought it because my parents have the same one and they love it. I bought mine in April 2022 and it worked well up until this week when it turned off by itself and we lost $300 worth of groceries.

    Nice freezer , problem is upon picking it up we noticed dents on the front and back of freezer . Was offered a 20 percent discount which I accepted but not happy at all considering if it was sent back it’s worth nothing . 40 percent would have been much more fair .

    Super convenient and affordable garage freezer

    I bought the previous generation of this freezer over 5 years ago, and it’s been working well. But we needed more space, and I wanted to organize different items in different freezers to make it easier to find them. So far the new freezer, which I bought on clearance, seems just as good as the old one, with a few changes: slightly squarer horizontal dimensions (but same height), a really useful built-in light, and a clear recommendation for where to set the temperature dial. The timing for the Best Buy delivery was an hour or two later than the automated system had claimed on the morning if the delivery day, but the delivery staff were friendly and let us wait a few minutes to make sure the freezer was starting to work. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a cheap but likely reliable way to store frozen items in their garage. I haven’t tried keeping it inside a primary living space.

    Damaged Piece

    I ordered and picked from store in Brookfield, wisconsin location. After taking it to home, when I opened I saw a body damage in the front and bottom of the freezer. Took the freezer and went back for a return. Got another one. But the second one also has the body damage on the right side of the freezer. This has frustrated me as I I am skeptical that the third one will also come as a damaged one. I think this is because of the brand insignia which is a part of best buy. So folks please open the package in the store itself and make sure that there are NO DAMAGES PRESENT.

    DOES NOT DRY. Bought this dishwasher based on the reviews and extremely disappointed. If I could return it, I would. We've run it a half dozen times with Heated Dry on and trying other settings. Dishwasher is perfectly level. Dishes are still wet 24hrs later. Not just wet, but soaked. There is even standing water on the door when you open it. Which seems impossible, but apparently it is not. We have to towel dry every dish. Whirlpool please contact me. This is unacceptable. Do not buy if you want your dishes to be dry.

    Great compact freezer for the garage

    I was tired of fighting for storage space in my kitchen refrigerator/freezer so I started looking for a small freezer I could squeeze into the garage. This Insignia 5.0 cf model had good reviews and was on sale so I gave it a shot. This is described as a garage-ready freezer and the instructions claim it can operate from 0 - 100 F ambient temperature. I ordered the unit online and picked it up at my local Best Buy. I have a truck so the largish box was not a problem. The box says the net weight is over 50 pounds, but it feels lighter than that. Setup was easy. The hardest part was figuring out how to open the little door on the rear bottom where the electrical cord is tucked away. I ended up using a small flat-blade screwdriver to pry it open. I made a small skateboard base for the freezer with locking wheels to make it easier to move around. The instructions say to wait at least 2 hours to plug in the freezer after ensuring the unit is upright. After plugging it in, I turned the unit to extra cold overnight, then dialed it back to the regular / recommended setting in the morning. I loaded it up with items from my other freezer, and about 12 pounds of chicken that I'd just purchased. After 24 hours or so I placed a thermometer in the freezer to check the temperature and it was reading -6.3F. The unit is quiet, and if it can maintain -6.3F I'm satisfied with my purchase. The meat I loaded into the freezer cost more than the freezer, so I consider the freezer a great value. 5.0 cf provides plenty of overflow space, so I no longer have to worry about how I'm going to make room for bulk frozen things after a big shopping run.
