Works as advertised, decent storage, no frills and very reasonably priced. Within couple of hours of turning this unit on (on medium setting), it hit less than 0 F. Got a freezer thermometer to make sense of what the freezer setting mean. There is one basket inside that adds more storage and a light inside the lid is a nice touch. The unit Is not noisy at all. Am quite happy with the small footprint, simple looks, decent storage and price point. Time will tell how long this last, but after a week of purchase, am a satisfied customer. And a big shout out to Best-buy’s curbside delivery.

I am really tickled with my new freezer. I am disabled and recently widowed, so I only shop once a month now and needed a better way to store a lot of frozen food at once, as I can not order in every night anymore on my income alone. I did lots of research and found the options lacking in this size. That is, until I found this freezer. It has the power indicator light on the front, the coated metal basket inside (as opposed to all others that I found switching to cheap, easily breakable plastic), and a fully opening 90 degree lid. At least 1 of these features were missing on all other 5cu ft freezers I looked at (in most cases, more than 1). And as a huge bonus, there is a great interior light, which I love, and you even get an ice scraper! So far, this freezer has been working like a dream. It doesn't seem to make any noise, either. I even like that it's a smooth finish, which is easier to clean. Love everything about it. It arrived in perfect condition, as it should and it holds even more than I thought. My only complaint is not with the freezer itself, but with the high delivery fee because I live .2 miles outside of the delivery radius and Best Buy wouldn't work with me on it. Very happy with this purchase, though, would buy again, and I highly recommend it.

Runs quiet, actually fits quite a bit and works well.

Perfect little freezer for the garage. We raw feed our dogs and needed extra freezer space to store their food. This absolutely does the trick, takes up minimal space and keeps everything FROZEN. I would recommend inspecting the unit immediately after bringing it home. Ours was a little dented on one corner when we unpacked it. Wasn’t serious enough to take it back but, there was no damage to the box so, we didn’t notice it right away.

After a month, and 4 re-scheduled appointments (I've never had a more frustrating Best Buy delivery experience...), we finally received this little freezer last week. We were dead set against a chest freezer, but like everything else, COVID changed our thought process a bit. We chose this freezer because we're just two folks (wife and I), and we wanted something small that would be relatively out of the way in our guest bedroom. We were lucky to be able to buy this product. It suited us perfectly, and it happened to be the only chest freezer available when we originally purchased. Despite its small size, this freezer holds so much stuff. I think it's suitable for a family of 2-4 people. It comes with a small basket to help keep things organized. I appreciate that it has a LED light. It's very bright. We don't even have to turn on the guest room light before digging into the freezer. I also like that it has a small power indicator light in the front. It's a simple thing, but it's useful to be able to make sure the freezer is working at a glance. I'm unsure how cold the freezer actually gets, but I will say that it's definitely very cold. Items that we placed in there froze quickly, and are hard as a rock.

We've never had a freezer before so I don't have a comparison to make, however, we are VERY happy with this freezer. The size is perfect for the two of us and it is very efficient use of freezer space. The inside of the freezer is more spacious than I was imagining it would be. The freezer is whisper-quiet and is certainly keeping our food frozen solid. All in all, it was a great purchase and we're very pleased with this freezer. We would certainly recommend this freezer to anyone.

Purchased on a last minute whim due to current COVID-19 crisis. All freezers from inexpensive to expensive em were sold out. We got pick my and saw this online for a great price, I believe. It’s light, but yet holds plenty of packing/stacking things properly. Gets cold fast, easy to adjust temperature control (bottom right side, if facing the front) and small enough to fit in our garage!

This freezer was perfect for my needs. Compact, works great, even temperature adjustment which is great for keeping ice cream scoopable for our church ice cream social!

Lots of storage space, exceptionally quiet, love having everything in the front; namely, seeing light that it's "on," temperature control and drain for when defrosting is needed! Freezes very efficiently and quickly. Very nice light on the inside of the lid goes on when it's open so you can see everything, too. I did a lot of research prior to buying it and I feel that this is the best one for it's efficiency, cu. ft. storage area and cost.

We’ve only had the freezer for a little over a month and it seems to be working just fine. For a small freezer it does hold a lot of food. We bought it to supplement out refrigerator freezer space. For us it’s the perfect size. It’s small size fits in the small space that we have in our condo. It’s very quiet.

I replaced my old freezer with this one and it is very nice and quiet. It fits a lot of foods and has a shelf and basket. I really love the light inside when you open it. I highly recommend this freezer! It is definitely worth the price!

I thought that I would need the larger size but this thing is working out great it stays about 2/3 full all the time and I really feel like it’s more than adequate. The unit is in the laundry room and is practically silent. I have to turn everything off and put my ear near it to hear it. I’ve got it set at the median setting and everything’s frozen solid. Very happy.

Price could be better but I got on sale. Fits nicely in out laundry room. Runs extremely quiet and efficient. Does have some frost development but no biggie. Roomy inside and works as intended.

This is the perfect size when you don't want a huge freezer. It's lightweight and was super quick to hit temperature. You can also adjust the temp for what you want and there is a drain so you can easily clean it.

We purchased this freezer because we needed more freezer space in our house.We looked and seen this one read the reviews was a little nervous about some of them but purchased it .We love it no damage on it like some says perfect size for our house love the light in it gets super cold works great not noisy,perfect for someone that needs a little extra freezer space highly recommend great buy love it

Great little freezer. We buy things on sale and freeze for later use so this was the perfect size to put in the basement. Doesnt take up a lot of space but has plenty of room to store foods. It operates very quietly and keeps things hard frozen. I havent seen any indication that it will frost inside either which is a plus. This is the second one we purchased and have been happy with the quality.

The freezer is excellent. I did not see a light on the freezer when I originally bought it so when we got it home and set it up it was a great surprise. The freezer is quiet and a perfect amount of space. The only I wish it had would be more baskets to hold things. The two provided are small but good for when u need to put something them to keep organized. I would recommend this freezer to anyone who is limited on space to place it in ur home. My home is small and with a tablecloth is looks like a tall end table and that it is meant for the rm it is in. I hope this review was helpful. The adjustable thermostat is great also. Also I would like to add The price was great but even better when Best Buy was having a store wide sale so I saved another $27 on this freezer. I’m thinking of getting another one because of the price for our small enclosed rm going to our backyard so we can store summer food and foods, Thanks Best Buy!!! The only negative was the BB store Rep that decided he knew they didn’t have anymore so he said we needed to buy something else. He then walked away to assist another customer who was looking at a $3000 fridge. It was quickly fixed when another woman working the floor went and looked for us. She found it and brought it out to the front and even wanted to help lifting into the truck. Great choice if u get this 5.0 cubic freezer.

Great freezer chest. I got it on sale and it turned out to be a solid investment. Sturdy, enough room for many items, especially if you're using it for all meat, and not loud. It also doesn't take up a lot of space.

I am in love with this chest freezer. It is just the right size for us to store extra items for later use. Easy to unstall and started right up. It is also very quiet when it runs. I also enjoy having the led light on the inside lid. Very functional. Keeps items consistently at the set temperature.
