Been using it for awhile and have had no problems. Love the light inside of it. Plenty of space with basket on top. Keep temp at middle and no build up of ice on sides.

I like the size of the freezer because it doesn't take up much room but has adequate freezer space. It's quiet and keeps my food at the right setting.

Love it. Extreme quiet and works well. Love the light when you open the lid. Removed one star because there's no way to tell what the interior temp is unless you buy a freezer thermometer.

It's a small chest freezer, but it is deep. I'm 5'9, and it comes to just below my waist. It's perfect for smaller homes, and it has a small bucket for putting juice concentrate type things. It gets cold, and I have it on the middle setting. You can hear it seal when you shut the top. The cleaning instructions are simple. It's worth the price.

This 5.0 cu. ft. Insignia chest freezer is exactly what I need. It's not too big, but gives me extra space for frozen groceries that come in larger sizes...which overwhelm my refrigerator's freezer. I'm delighted with it. Highly recommended.

Haven't had the freezer but a month but so far, so good. I had a chest freezer for almost 30 years and was getting worried about it going down and thus losing all my food. I have a limited space for the replacement and this product fits perfectly. It's a little bit smaller than my prior freezer but I know it's far more energy efficient as the total cost per year is a mere $28. I wish the freezer defrosted itself but none of the brands offer this feature. I like that it has a light inside. It runs very quietly, too.

This is perfect for 1-4 people. I use it for overflow from smaller regular Fridge/Freezer. This allows me to actually stock up when there is a sale on meat at the grocery store. Very small footprint so does not take up much room. Also, love the light inside the lid. So able to open it without turning on room light. Due to space put it in older son's room that is only home every few months for a week or two due to being OTR Truck Diver. So we don't bother him in the middle of the night.

Great extra freezer for garage. Perfect for small space, but deep enough to store a lot of items. Cannot tell from the pictures shown on the website, but it actually provides a good amount of space. Had it for almost a month now, so far so good. Great price considering it was less than $200 for a 5.0 cu. ft size. Had to grab it since when I saw it was available. Very hard to find one for this price. The product is pretty light and easy to carry, but may still need 2 people.

It’s compact, quiet and does the job. I’m happy with my purchase. I live in an apartment & it’s convenient & a space saver.

It seems small but it can fit quite a bit! It is much lighter than I expected and we were able to get it into our basement easily. So far we are very happy with it.

I love this freezer. It's been a literal life saver. It's never given us any problems. I love it's size as well. Not too big and bulky but can fit a lot in it!

Right size. Cold secure. Holds extra food. Does everything it’s supposed to do and fits perfectly into our spot just off kitchen. Easy peasy.

I wasn't sure whether to wait a few weeks to review, but decided given my purchase was based on "Pandemic Preparedness" - I would go ahead and post my observations given reviews of others was helpful in my decision process. I was torn between the 3.5, 5.0, and 7.0 Models. For me, a single person, I decided the 5.0 was just right. I was quite concerned given other reviews on how the item would arrived, i.e. damaged or dented in shipping. The store was AWESOME with curbside; it fit beautifully into a Ford Explorer SUV (on it's side); and I am happy to say the appliance was in beautiful condition when I unboxed. Even though it was on it's side during transport home, I STILL let it sit upright a good 48 hours before plugging it in and turning it on - just to be safe. The 5.0 is manageable by one person to unload, unbox, carry up a flight of steps, and position. Easier with two, but it wasn't bad. I did have to do some leveling, but the two leveling feet on the left side were easy to access and use. Since my only option was to place on carpet - I did have a piece of wood made to place it on as a "base" and made it easier to level as well as clean around. I turned it on to about 3/4 of the way towards "Max" and in two hours, it was at -10 F (I used a Refrigerator/Freezer Thermometer) just to be sure. The light is a nice feature and quite bright. Operation is very quiet - white noise if anything. I am filling it up slowly as I do my shopping and keeping an eye on how the freezer performs. I am giving it 5 Stars for now - because, as long as it continues to perform this way - it has met my needs during this difficult pandemic time. Overall, it appears to be efficient and a really nice size for the tight space I have to work with!

I have had this freezer for 2 years. It is a good size to keep longer term frozen items, items don't get lost in the bottom, and it doesn't take up much space. It has been in my garage which can be 90 - 100 degrees for 2 summers and it has continued to work great.
