This is a perfect freezer for my mobile home. Just the right highth and it is very quiet! I would definitely recommend it to others.

The size is good for any location. Easy hook up and light enough to be moved by one person. Just plug up, let it get cold for a day or two, and begin filling the freezer. Mine is in the basement, but quiet enough for anywhere.

Perfect size for our 'overflow' freezer needs. The extra room allows us to stock up on items before the holidays without overcrowding the main freezer. Very light weight (when empty) and set up was as easy as plug in and set the temperature.

Great size freezer for my needs. It works with no problems, & the freezer is almost full!! Light weight enough to change locations whenever I please. I would recommend this freezer to anyone who needs only a smaller size that works well!

We bought the Insignia chest freezer just over a month ago to store supplies during the CV-19 virus. During our research to buy a freezer we quickly discovered the supply was very limited so we were glad to see a freezer available at Best Buy. After installation the freezer reached zero degrees quickly. Over the next few days we noticed some odd noises. The first noise comes when the freezer compressor turns on it makes a distinct “ping” noise. The first few times we heard the ping noise we thought it sounded like a cell phone getting a text message. The second noise is best described as a “fly buzz” and lasts about a second. It makes this noise several times until the freezer compressor turns off. We called the customer service number at Insignia and described the noises to the customer service representative. The rep could not find any history of the noises we described and suggested we call the local Best Buy Geek Squad. We called the Geek Squad and they said we could return the freezer since we were within 21 days of the purchase. The problem with that option was there was no replacement unit available and we had the freezer was ½ full of food. Giving the situation we opted to keep the freezer and hope for the best. The freezer seems to be working fine so we are hoping we will not need to use the one year warranty. The ping and buzz sounds are becoming just everyday background noise! Some positive notes: The price was really good. The freezer is a good size for 2-4 people. It is great to buy freezer items and not have to rearrange the refrigerator freezer section to “fit” them in. The light is a nice feature.

Got this for the house cause the freezer was too packed so now we loosen up some space on the refrigerator., so this purchase was very, very good

Works well and keep things really cold. I've had this about a year now and it does what a freezer is supposed to. Never had to think about it. It's pretty roomy too for its size. The basket is also nice.

Overall, it’s a great size for what we needed. I enjoy how it can blend into different spaces and the set up was fairly simple and easy out the box which I appreciated since we needed a quick turnaround.

At first I was nervous about this freezer...cause it was hot on the outside front when first received it but it went after 1 day 1/2 so it works that way it's all good I am happy with it very spaces & love the light it has in side if u open at night without kitchen light I'm happy with it & my neighbor has one to that's why I decided to get it to cause she is happy with hers also.

I live in an apartment and the fridge that they included had the smallest freezer I’ve ever seen, because of this my family has had to limit our frozen products since we moved in (also we never had space for ice cubes). We finally pulled the trigger and bought this freezer and it’s amazing, its not gigantic like i feared, it’s silent, it even has a light that illuminates when you open the door. Couldn’task for more.

Quiet, efficient, and effective. This unit has a light built into the underside of the lid, which provides great lighting, especially if your new freezer is located in a dark corner.

This freezer is the perfect size for apartment dwellers. It holds a ton of food and is very energy efficient. The temperature setting holds and halfway is plenty cold enough to store even the most finicky of frozen foods. Love this freezer

This was a very good buy for the money. I am very pleased with it. I like the fact that you can adjust the temperature. I like the way it fits into a small space but yet gives me ample amount of inside space for food storage.

Works well and is a good size for our 3 person household. Due to the smaller size, was easy to get in the basement for set up. Reached the desired temperature quickly. I installed a freezer thermometer and it keeps at -10 degrees consistently.

Needed a deep freezer so we bought this one . Was light and easy to move and set up . It has plenty of space to store all the foods you didn’t have room for . I also like the interior light that it has to find things easily .

Keeps 5 cubic feet of food cold! Frozen in fact! 5 cubic feet of it! Vegetables, meats, you name it! It's a FREEZER and in fact it freezes things. That's how appliances work. You say what it does and then add "er". Toast-er. Blend-er. Freeze-er. Is this the minimum number of words yet? I'm gonna go get drunk.

Excellent value for the money. The freezer is guite when running and the interior light is great. It easily maintains -10 F and at a cost of about $3 per month for electricity. On sale for $124.99 before local taxes.

Great freezer, keeps everything frozen and consistent no matter where you place and no matter how much you put into it.

Just the right size for an overflow from our main freezer. Very quiet when running, and the built-in light is useful because we have it in a somewhat dark corner of our basement. Only complaint is the packaging, which doesn’t protect it very well in transit. We had to return our first one due to a dent in one side, even though the outer packaging was undamaged.

I picked this freezer up to replace the 5 year old deep freezer that blew out during a year away from our Florida home, what a mess. This freezer is not as big as the item replaced, but I am okay with that. I paid less than major hardware stores showed and with a 5 year warranty to add to the deal. This freezer is so quiet I had to double check I plugged it in. Now lets talk about cold, I have a laser thermometer and reading of -20 degrees, and this is at half on dial. I just hope that this freezer lasts longer and no more wasted food, like fresh fish I caught. Something I loved about this freezer was no damages from shipping item, like many persons complained about from other stores online.
