I have had this freezer for over 4 years in my non insulated garage now with absolutely no issues. The frost build-up is very minimal on the inside walls. I think i have only defrosted it maybe 2 times since owning it.

We wanted a freezer but not something that was going to take up a ton of space. This really helps us be able to store items in bulk and not having to worry if it will fit in today's compact style feezer/fridges. I have been able to leave the dial right in the middle and it keeps my items perfectly frozen. It would be nice if you could add another or a larger basket for the smaller random items. We did buy the extended warranty.

Lightweight and easy to move around if necessary. I let it rest after installation for a full 24 hours before plugging in and it froze very quickly and is perfect for storing meat packaged and ice.

Super Chest Freeer

It is a super freezer for excess food that cannot fit in the refrigerator freezer. Quiet. Quick cold. Lift weight, was easy to pickup in car and set up in house.

We bought this because we rent and the refrigerator is small. Despite and because of the freezer having an ice maker, there was really not much room for frozen foods. And we got tired of not having frozen foods on hand when we wanted them instead of having to run to the store during Covid, so this was perfect! I have ours completely packed and the dial set at 7 or 8 (clock face visual). Ice creams are firm not soft, so it is doing a wonderful job!
