Very good quality and just the right size for small area in your home. Plenty of room inside. What’s great is, when you open the lid, there’s bright light inside and be able to see your food. Quiet motor. Indicator light shows if it’s on or off. Adjustable temperature setting. I like the location of the exhaust air vent, it’s on the side instead of back.

My experience with this freezer is pretty much identical to all the other favorable reviews. It’s the perfect size for me, keeps a good constant 0°, and has remained frost free despite a rather humid summer spent in the garage. I’m always kind of wary about store brand electronics and appliances, but I’ve been totally happy with this freezer!

I never owned chest freezers because of the defrost issue. I own 5 of them now and love them. This newer model has an LED light that makes finding things in it a snap. And because it is relatively small, it is easy to organize and find things in and takes up hardly any space. And I have not had to defrost a unit in over 1 year with no immediate need to either.

This freezer is the perfect size for a mobile home. Having had to downsize but still needing the extra freezing space I check this out at the store. Love the extra feature of having the light when you lift the lid. Plenty of Room And even has a basket. You may think it’s a small size but it’s not and I would definitely recommend this freezer

Super easy set up - just plug in. Works great and has great amount of storage.

Small but spacious. We are a family of 4 adults and it accommodates us. The temperature holds up greatly. Haven’t had any problems. We had a storm and our lights were out for days during the summer months but we just kept the freezer closed and didn’t have to throw out any food but the food that was in the refrigerator freezer, had to be tossed out. It’s perfect for small spaces.

Great little freezer! Our previous chest freezer did its job and when we needed a new one strictly for "other than consumables" we looked to Insignia. This little beast holds a whole bucket of bait, fish, and other recreational needs . . . and is quiet about it! So far, so good!

This is a great freezer, it's the perfect size for our sunroom and so convenient. We certainly believe we got a great price, and would definitely recommend this freezer to our family and friends. We searched different places and Best Buy's price was very competitive. So far we have been very lucky purchasing at Best Buy.

Excellent compact freeze. if you need some additional freezer space and don't want a giant energy sucker or something requiring 3 people to load and then get in house this is a good option. Just right height so you can reach down to bottom easily. Holds temperature. So far only little bit of frost on one side, but accessible front drain will make easy defrosting.

We installed this unit in a utility room in a gulf front beach condo. Humidity is an issue, but haven’t had any frosting issues yet. Operated for about 2 months now through Summer months. Works great and perfect size for those few things you don’t want in your main freezer.

Has been running for months in the hot garage in TX and it has been rock solid. No issues with it. No damage unboxing or anything. Holds more than expected and has worked really well for my family. Frost buildup has been minimal and just the expected thin layer - have not needed to clear it out to clean or anything. For a family of 3, 5cu ft has been fine when stocking up on sale items. But I can see a bigger one being useful for larger purchases, game, etc.
