We bought this to store food so we would not have to go to the store very frequently. It holds more that I thought it would, organizing it easier with the included baskets and since we put it in a corner in our back hall, having the built in light is really convenient.

Picked this up as soon as they began shutting the city down due to COVID and did a heavy food shop right after. It's nice and deep, no issues and the little tray on top has been handy for small items. Makes no noise and haven't had any issues so far. I scored!!

First off let me tell you how much I love Insignia products. they work as well as those high name brands but for a lower cost. I can fit tons of food in this 5.0 CU. FT freezer and saves space by being tall rather than wide. def recommended

Excellent inside lighting. basket makes it easier to store smaller items. Depth is perfect and allows for the right amount of space to store items that need to be frozen. Compact size doesn't take up a lot of space. Very convenient and practical.

So far this works very well. Perfect size for freezing extra items. Really helps to keep the main refrigerator/freezer not so crowded. I bought this based on reviews. It had the best reviews based on it's size. Very happy with this purchase so far!

This freezer is a great deal when it's on sale. The size was perfect for our needs as well. We shopped around quite a bit and was surprised this one had an inside light which many of the others we looked at did not. Very happy with the purchase.

We wanted to make sure we had extra meat and frozen food during the quarantine. This is the perfect size for a family of 3. We have a small freezer in our home so the extra space was needed. As long as you are organized when you pack it, you can see the items in it.

Perfect size for a single person. I love the shelf and basket for smaller items. The capacity is much larger than I imagined. I am able to store numerous large items such as a turkey and ham and still have plenty of room for other food items.

This deep freezer fits perfect in my kitchen and works great. It was an affordable buy and easy to set up.

I've only had the freezer for a little over a month, but so far everything has been as great. Since I was not that familiar with this brand, I read a lot of reviews and watched some online videos before purchase. Most were very positive and a very few were not. As we all know, even reputable brands sometimes have a few that, for whatever reason, don't match up to the majority of what they manufactured. But it seems, for the most part, this is a quality product. Only time will tell for sure. One item of note, it is very quite. Much quieter than I expected. Very pleased about that. But at first, I thought, is it working? It was; just really, really quite. It was an excellent value. I'm pleased with my purchase and I would recommend it to my family and friends who are in the market for a good freezer.

Great small freezer. One of the best things - a light in the door. Not a lot of small chest freezers have the light. It is pretty quiet, not dead silent. I have a very quiet house and can hear it run, a low hum and a faint tapping sound.

Exactly as it was advertised. Love the drain plug for defrosting, better than having to tip it over to get the water out. It’s in the garage, and during recent heat wave it did not heat up, the portable freezer thermometer we put in there read 0 to -10 the whole time. There are fancier freezers, but for something to have in the garage to store food? This one is more than adequate.

Perfect for the dining room in my one bedroom apartment. Small enough to be unobtrusive and big enough to stock up with veggies, pizzas, burritos, frozen fruit, Large batches of lasagna, etc. This is exactly what I needed for A very good price.

Decent sized fridge to keep any extra freezer items. It is quiet, but it does take up some space so you will need a good spot to put it that it doesn't bother you. Kept a 12 pound turkey frozen and additional items so im happy with the purchase!

This freezer works amazing. I put frozen waters, ice creams, meats, all kinds and keeps everything frozen. Love this freezer
