To my surprise it even has a light INSIDE. Nice touch INSIGNIA. There is a blue light at the bottom to indicate electric power in on.

It doesn't take up much space. The other best thing about my Insignia chest freezer its easy to move it has wheels. It's perfect! I'm enjoying it!

Also, that light is such a bonus. I did buy two more baskets for it, to make getting at my frozen foods quicker.

Doesn’t take up a lot of space but has a lot of space inside. Works perfectly for us.

Loaded it with frozen meat, placed a chunk of dry ice on top, and made the 8 1/2 hour trip to the south coast. (without the freezer plugged in) It was a hot day the entire trip, and I was paranoid the entire time that it wouldn't have sufficient insulation to keep my meat frozen. I shouldn't have been worried. Meat stayed frozen solid, and after I plugged it in when I got home, it kept my frozen things frozen, and I only have the setting knob set right about in the middle, so I assume it can get much colder. But no need. Love the lid light. Great freezer!
