I have been very pleasantly surprised with the quality and usability of this freezer. We went from a massive 50+ year old Sears full size (think room for 6 adult bodies) chest freezer, which finally gave up the ghost, to this one. Now granted this won't hold the quantity that the old one did, but I no longer have 10 people I'm shopping for and feeding. This one holds more than aequate amounts of frozen food, and the layout makes it really easy to find things- nothing gets buried for years on end. It freezes things hard lickety-split , and I like the layout of the shelving. There is room on top for a microwave, a bread holder, or some other kitchen-y thing. Good get, and the price is certainly right! Make sure you really pay attention to the measurements here, this thing is about the size of an apartment size fridge-freezer .

I cannot say enough good things about this freezer! It’s slim and doesn’t take up much room but holds quite a lot! The freezer works amazingly well and it really helps out for my family with our refrigerator’s small freezer. It’s also pretty light so moving it into my house and getting it set up was a breeze!

This has been a great addition to our home. Its lightweight and compact size made it easy to get down our narrow basement stairs. It runs quietly and gets quite cold. The shelves are not adjustable (a full size turkey will not fit, but several turkey breast will).

We were looking for a reasonably priced upright freezer (no chests) that wasn’t huge!! But our requirement was that it had to fit a frozen pizza box. This one is on the smaller side, which is what we wanted, and doesn’t take up a lot of room. And I’m happy to report that it fits pizza boxes with room to spare.

We bought a new fridge and the freezer was lacking a little space so we purchased this guy. Smaller and cheaper than a standard deep freeze, but still enough room to store some extra things.

I was really surprised at just how much room there is in this little freezer. I like how tall and slim the freezer is which takes up less floor space but still has enough capacity. Fits perfect in our space. It is a great fit for a family of four. Not a bad price either.

I struggled with deciding to get one of these cheapo, budget freezers again. I had gotten one in the past (different brand - Igloo), it broke after 1 year, got it replaced using Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection Plan. That broke after 2 years and Best Buy could not replace it so I got some money back. I tried to go without one for half a year but our large family really needed extra freezer space. However, I couldn't justify getting the larger, more expensive units, so...here we go again... I got the Insignia 5.3cu ft with the protection plan. It works well now but ask me again in a year or two.

Convenient. Nice. Easy to organize. Easy to see what you need. I don’t have to dig into it if I need some thing. I used to have a chest but have to give it away because it was too much work to get something I need in there. Love this one very much.

I love our new freezer! So far so good! I've been wanting an additional freezer for our garage and choosing between a chest freezer and upright one. I'm glad we got this, it doesn't take so much space in our garage and it is easy to organize.

Now that I have had this freezer for a few months, I must say that I am very satisfied with this freezer. It is just the right size I was looking for, at an incredible price, was delivered to my place for free, and it has functioned as expected.

This freezer has been a good addition to our house. We have a family of 3 and we like to buy in bulk and freeze most of our meats. It’s small enough to not take up too much room in the garage but large enough to store what we need.

Needed a freezer that wouldn't take up too much space. I got this upright model for easy access. Digging through chest freezers, trying to find buried items is never fun. It has been quiet and no problem with frost build-up.

The slim design of this freezer makes it easy to tuck it into a convenient location. The door and shelves are well-made. We really like how easy it is to find things in this, compared to in a chest freezer. Everything is clearly visible!

We needed that extra space for frozen foods and didn't want to buy a small chest freezer, we end up forgetting what's in there. This freezer is perfect. We can see everything, doesn't take up much room and easy to access.

After a month, this is great for our new little condo. We downsized from the house to a condo and previously had two freezers. The condo may have one refrigerator freezer and we bought this little freezer since a full size would not fit. Even though it is not frost free, it seems to do very well. After a month I have not seen any frost buildup. I try not to open the doors and immediately get what I want and shut the door. This has been very very handy in our little place. Saves a lot of trips to the store.

Freezer was purchased to store foods and other misc. items that don't fit in my regular fridge. The 5.3 CF doesn't sound big but it has plenty of room and it works great. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a small but roomy freezer.

Bought this to add additional storage as I have a small freezer in the bottom of the current Fridge/Freezer combo. Provides more than enough space. Easy to level, not to much packing materials. Delivery was efficient and on-time

It was just the right size for my space and it's so quiet i can't tell when its on. The only drawbacks are that it doesn't have a light and I wish it had a little door storage area for small things like juice, hot dogs etc. Also a basket in the bottom would be great for frozen veggies.

This freezer is everything it is said to be. Fits in a small space but has a large storage capacity. Easy to open easy to clean. Great for someone just starting a new home, or that added space you need when your freezer is full.

Freezer is big enough for what we need right now. Prefer this style over a chest freezer so our food doesn’t get “lost”. Has a great suction (have to open door with two hands) so I don’t have to worry about door not sealing tightly.
