I will start by saying that there is a steep learning curve for a novice, like myself. The thought of your own, personal kegerator is cool but there is a lot to it. Like most I have dealt with having foam issues when I first tapped a keg. There is a learning curve with these, the temp has to be just right, as does the CO2. Also, you need to make sure that everything is perfectly tight, I ran out of CO2 within 2 days because I had a leak in my regulator. Therefore, make sure you double check that all connections are tighten. I would suggest to use soapy water to make sure there are no leaks. About a third of my first keg was wasted in foam, so I am now planning on swapping the beer line for one that is 10 feet long. I have also added a fan to help circulate the cold air inside the keg. Also, these things require up keep. After every keg it is recommended that you clean the beer lines. Ultimately, I wouldn't recommend a Kegerator to anyone, just because of the associated extra cost. But it is pretty awesome to have draft beer at home. You can also go to your local brewery and pick up a keg, that in itself is pretty special.

Was considering DIY project but ended buying this on sale since it was in stock. Worked well out of the box with first keg. Second keg we are drinking slower and tap gets stuck. First time a little bit of pressure on the handle got it flowing. But when it happened again, the pressure attempt actually. Role the plastic handle. Sure we should be drinking more frequently but seems weird. Not sure what the issue is or how to resolve yet.

The packaging was in perfect condition, well packed. One trick to keep in mind was to keep the unit upright the entire time. Casters are an option. Take your time and follow instructions. Get your 10lb C02 bottled as soon as possible after unpacking. The unit stays at a cool 40*. Once you balance your system, you're ready for a draft!

This is a great item completely keeps everything the way it should stays always ice cold and never flat great buy...........

Set up was simple. Problem is after that if you need help there is no one available. Best buy can't help with this, and insignia isn't any help. My beer has been all foam and from reading reviews and talking to people I figured it's more about the beer I have, and the psi is too high. I haven't figured out the correct collaboration yet, but I've seen it takes time.

Ordered, shipped and arrived in no time flat; if not a bit bulky to get through the front door. Unpacked everything (and boy was she taped, foamed and 'bout near impervious), read through the instructions once or twice to make heads/tails of the bad writing and pictures. Take your time and test fit EVERYTHING, it'll make sense. Mounted the 5lb tank on the outside for some better clearance inside (JUST in case), dropped a 'mometer on the back ledge and turned her to 4 (of 6). That shouldn't be too low, eh? 24hrs. later and I have ICE on the drip ledge!! Took me a few days to find 1.75 was the 'sweet spot'. Have a 20lb tank already (why worry to fill the 'baby' for now), hooked up to the regulator and a corny or brew. I went through the keg before getting a pour that wasn't foamy as all get out, or flat. I'll try another and see if I can dial in the CO2. Note: The gas lines have a one-way plastic valve, so watch out if you over-charge the keg! Still, for the cost, the quality of the unit and the sheer convenience of in-home freshness I'll put up with the hiccups. If need be, I'll call into the help line and/or the local guys to see how I make it perfect.

Great for the price, but be not as cold as we would like it. Bought a tower cooling kit... helped a little. You get what you pay for.

As a Christmas gift I was excited to get this hooked up and it was easy to hook up and works great

Purchased this for my wife and I as a Christmas gift last year. We've had a keg in it pretty much consistently for almost a year now and have very few complaints. There are a few things that can be done to enhance the performance but right out of the box it does a pretty decent job. Great value for the money.
