    Ice cold beer with modifications

The item is exactly as described. However, I first put in a thermometer with lead wire sensor to monitor real time temps. With kegerator on highest setting, I could only cool to 40 degrees with beer temp a little higher. After reading some online postings, I installed a 4" free standing PC fan to circulate the air inside, the temps are now 28-35 degrees at setting #2 of 6. On #3, I froze the beer lines. Obviously, this kegerator needs a fan and a $25 quick fix made it more economical because it isn't running as much and the beer is ICE COLD.

I was pleased to see the quality of this product so far. It was easy to put together and with a few bumps it is up and running. I am still learning about the air adjustments but the beer is cold and the unit looks great in my kitchen! I shopped around before buying and this price is a great value for a keg refrigerator! I would recommend this product.

I’m very happy to end up with a Kegerator under $500. Drinking draft beer in my home is crazy. I did have some setup issues due to a couple missing parts that were luckily in the spare parts. The big one was the washer that hooks the tap line into the keg. I have no idea where this clear washer was when it was packed, and I was screaming as beer was leaking through it as I tried to adjust it, but once I realized that they put this in the instructions but don’t clearly show it, I fixed my problem. That washer if not put on will cause beer to leak everywhere, and money to be wasted. It should be in the main package, and more clearly labeled.

    Great Beginner Kegarator

Good Kegarator keeps my beer cold. Plenty of space, It can hold a 15.5gallon keg(half barrel). Or 2 slim kegs. Set up requires a little common sense. Some gaskets are not labeled and diagram included does not specify. Some issues I saw; - The pressure regulator only includes a low pressure/supply gauge. It does not include a high pressure/tank pressure gauge. So you never know when you are going to run out of CO2 until you are out. -As others have stated, the tap is not refrigerated. So those initial couple of oz of beer come out foamy but it clears up as the temperatures equalize. -Regulator materials seem ok. They get the job done, not the best quality. Over all I would say this is a great beginner Kegarator. Some tap upgrades would make it awesome.

I’ve only had it a little over a month but so far it’s been great. Plenty of room for 2 corny kegs. I added a Johnson control and it maintains perfect temperature. Pours perfect. Only regret is not getting the dual tap model but can easily convert at a later time.

Excellent kegerator for the money, line is already connected to the tower and long enough to avoid excessive foam, other foam complaints I have seen can be solved by having a tower cooler insulator which I already had on my last one and helps a lot, the temperature settings are in the back, I have had it set to max since day 1 and temperature runs around 38 degrees which is just cold enough for me, I have a fish tank thermometer in a water bottle at the bottom of the keg to text, easy to install, took me about 1 hour but I was really careful to make sure there were no leaks and everything is 100% secure, comes with wheels which is nice, I like the faucet too, the faucet you have to hold to pour the beer so an extra safety feature to make sure your beer is secure and wont get bumped and empty your keg, overall I am really pleased

The kegerator works as it should. Looks good. And is fairly easy to set up. There are a few things that I should note about the product. 1) The tap is not facing directly forward. It is off just a bit, but there's no way to spin the tower any further to square it. 2) With the dial as 'cold' as it gets, after 3 days, it still only reads 37 degrees inside. 3) There were scratches and blemishes on the drip tray, the top rail, and one side of the appliance. Like it had been returned or mishandled at the warehouse. 4) The CO2 tank and regulator are very finicky. This is my first one, so maybe these are common occurrences, but I doubt it. Thankful I only paid the Black Friday price for it, and not full.

Easy to set up. Come with everything you need. I was very happy about the CO2 tank and regulator being included. Not my favorite kind of tap but was very easy to upgrade later to a dual tap system. Fits 3 6-barrel kegs and the co2 inside comfortably.

I’ve had this for a month now. I’ve gone through one keg and started on my second one. Beer has been staying at 33 degrees. This was the one thing I was worried about but it has been perfect. Tower is a little shakey but for the price you can’t beat it.

I did not have high expectations for this since it was so cheap. It is a great kegerator, At mid level (5-6) it dropped the temp to 28-30. It barely creates any ice inside too and fits 3 5gal kegs with some room to spare. Highly recommended.

Alright, so we were looking for a good kegerator for a while and found the insignia kegerator. I read the reviews and almost everyone was happy with theirs, so I waited until it goes on sell again and bought it for $350. The setup process was pretty simple and easy and took about 15-20 minutes. I installed the tank inside and got a corona half keg. Few things you must know is that when you put a new keg inside you have to wait 24 hours otherwise you will see a lot of foam right away. secondly, after 24 hours you have to play with the CO2 pressure to make sure it is not no foam or a lot of foam. manual says keep at like 10 or 11 psi but it is different for each beer. My friend has a pizza shop and said for coronas try 4 or 5 and it was the sweet spot. So it is not just plug and drink, you actually have to get the right pressure. Also my friend told me every now and then just take the keg out, slam it gently on the ground once and put it back in and wait 3 hours. That will make the beer taste better and also last longer.

Bought this for my husband for his birthday. We could not be more pleased! It arrived exactly as expected and the setup was easy. The temperature of the beer is perfect! The first keg was a 1/5th slim keg. Enough room for up to a 1/2 keg.

I bought this for my husband's birthday. It was easy to set up and he gets a perfect pour with very little foam every time. This is our first kegerator so we didn't know too much about them but so far, it has worked very well and the beer is ice cold. Great price on this as well!

If you want your first Kegerator this is a solid choice. The issues I've been having is the line from the tap to the keg would freeze. I know I have the temp to low but not having a digital thermometer is a real headache. I also have a few thermometers in the keg itself but for you to actually see a temp change it takes about 2 days (according to the manual) and if you constantly open the door to check the temp the cooler will take longer to cool. All in all I'm pretty satisfied with it! I would recommend getting one with a electronic temp controller not the dial. The dial is also in a awful spot sitting behind the fridge at the bottom. Once you get it going right set it and forget it.
