3 weeks I have had this kegerator and here are the issues: 1) Temperature has an 11 degree range no mater what setting, it seems to warm up and then over compensate with cooling. 2) Beer line is to short providing to little resistance in order to balance the beer. 3) Changing out the beer line to add additional resistance is very difficult, the faucet assembly does not allow enough room for a wrench to hold the nut connecting the flange to the faucet. I regret making this purchase, I would have spent more money on a quality kegerator if I had know of these issues.

I did not buy the extended warranty because I take very good care of my stuff. I kept the kegorator in the garage, which is insulated and doesn't get too hot or too cold in there. The compressor is still working but wont get cold. Called a repair person out and they said it could be clogged in the line but could not test it because it doesn't have a high side to the compressor and uses 600A freon (Nobody uses it anymore and very hard to get). Poor design for the compressor and should be designed for repair. Now I have a useless $500 box that is only 17 months old. Very disappointed.

First 2 months. I decide it is time to flush the beer line. Take the wrench and turn it to remove the tap. The metal snaps immediately. I read my owners manual, all service and returns must be handled through best buy. I go to best buy " you must call the manufacturer for this sort of repair. I call the manufacturer "You have to go through best buy and return the item, insignia doesn't provide replacement parts it is easier to just return" On hold now with best buy. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY THIS. it is flemsy and not worth the hassle. Buy a legitimate kegerator not this garbage!!!!!!!!

    Piece of Junk

After only 2 years, the piece of junk fridge is falling apart. The door seal detached along the bottom which means the door won’t close properly and it is constantly leaking pools of water. Frost builds up along the back, and then the fridge shuts down. Since it only came with a 1 year warranty, I tried purchasing the seal, but neither Best Buy nor Insignia has the part available. They still sell the kegerator, but won’t sell the parts, how is this possible? So basically this was an expensive and completely useless purchase. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I received this product with several dents and strange lumps in the plastic near the motor. While contacting Best Buy I received horrible customer service. I took the day off to facilitate UPS picking up the kegorator, which they didn't show up. I later found Best Buy didn't give them the right information. I had to force UPS to give me a 4 hour window, in which they would be at my house to pick up the product. I have spent thousand of dollars at Best Buy over the years, and will never spend another cent there again. I asked for any type of compensation for my time and their damaged product, only to be disrespected.

I had the keg orator shipped to store. Box was sealed, unopened. After getting it home, imagine my suprise to find the following parts missing: Casters Beer Tap Handles Screws for Faucet Tower Bolt to secure CO2 tank Hose clamp Neoprene washer for beer line I was very frustrated so I went to Insignia for support and filled out an online support ticket. After submitting, the message said I would hear back from them within 2 business days. Today is day 3 and not a word. I was able to get critical parts at Home Depot at my own expense, so it is working, however this will be my last insignia product ever.

Hi! I'm really sorry about this incident with the kegerator. My best recommendation is to take it back to the store as soon as possible, you have a 15 day return/exchange period at the store. My sincerest apologies, Louie L. Insignia Products. BBY-ExBrand_Insignia

I have enjoyed it since I got it home. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that it doesn't have a drain on the pan under the spouts. Otherwise, no complaints at all.

I have had my dual tap kegerator for about a month and just added a second keg to it. I noteced that a ring that connects the tap to the tap post is cracked and the tap moves all around. I called Bestbuy. They said they couldnt help me and to call manf. So I call Insignas number and magically Bestbuy picks up. They send me over to parts and parts tells me theres nothing they can do and I sould try and source parts locally. I paid $400.00 for this and a protection plan. I dont want to use my plan because its a small part that is broken. I would think twice before purchasing

Love my new kegerator should have done this years ago, my only complaint is on the inside, it won't hold 2, 1/4 barrel slims for most non traditional brewers (bud, miller, ect.) but that is ok I can only drink 1 at a time anyways. GREAT BUY....

    Solid Kegerator

Don't get me wrong, it pours beer and looks nice but it’s not perfect. Below are some “First World” problems/comments/fixes 1. The instructions are absolutely awful and there are no videos online on how to assemble. Most of it is common sense but as to where or if a gasket is required who knows. I put a gasket where the beer and co2 lines attach to the keg. You will have lots of extra parts leftover. 2. I had no leaks in my beer and co2 lines but my friend did. Probably has to do with number 1. Before you tap your beer, open your co2 bottle and with a soapy water solution check for leaks. Tighten what you need to make it go away. If you don’t do this is will wake up the next day with a dry co2 tank and depending on #6 you could be really screwed. 3. The co2 regulator is the cheapest model you can buy. It doesn't tell you your input pressure (the pressure in your tank). This is important so you know if your co2 pressure is low and needs replacement. Since it is a single regulator, you can’t have two different beers that require different pressure on tap at the same time (well technically you can but they don’t play nicely together and you will not enjoy it.) What I recommend you upgrade to is a dual tap co2 regulator. They sell them at kegworks and amazon for about $95. They fit inside no problem, have individual shut offs, and work sooooo much better. 4. Although it states it doesn't fit miller and coors kegs, it does only if you get the non-rubber topped ones. The rubber is similar to a non-skid truck lining on top and makes it too tall to fit in your kegerator. I always bring a measuring tape with me to make sure. 5. You will get a lot of foam on your first pour and if there is a long wait between pours. This is because your beer lines that are in your dual tap tower are warmer and as the beer passes through you get significant foaming. Don’t worry! This is common on all types of tower kegs. This is how you fix it: a). Just keep pouring beer so the lines never get warm or b). buy a kegerator tower cooler off of amazon for about $50. Route it through your external co2 line and plug it in the wall. Works great. 6. Your 5 lb co2 tank ships empty. Start looking for places the fill co2. Some have a 1 week turnaround so you may want to buy another 5 lb tank on amazon and keep them cycling. Also don't be scammed when you fill it up. 99.99% of co2 is food safe co2, most companies market it as such just to increase the price. 7. This is a good kegerator if you get it for a good price. The good price will allow you to do some upgrades. I was able to get mine for $425 with free delivery due to a sale on appliances at Best Buy. I purchased it on father’s day. You can use a 20% off coupon and get a discount too. 8. This will not "save" you money on beer. If you don't believe me do the math. The only way you could possible save money is to buy full kegs, run only 1 tap, and only drink domestic beer. It more of a cool novelty and an easy way to make more friends.

The double-tap kegerator took some time to set up, but the directions were clear. After adjusting the PSI, the pours are consistent and the beer tastes great. No complaints after 3-4 months of use.
