Easy set-up. Read instructions before you start. Bought two kegs, one 1/4 and one 1/6 tanks. Be sure to let them settle in the Kegerator for at least 24 hours to reduce foam. Also, set your temp at Level 6. I found that after two days of sitting, the beer was great. 1 inch foam and the second glass is colder since the tap is not chilled. Be patient, do not rush and you will enjoy it!

Great investment if you plan on drinking local craft beer or for homebrew. Once the temperature and CO2 is dialed in you will have consistent pour through the life of the keg.

Finely got some beer to use our kegerator. This is a wonderful product. The only issue we are having is that the beer is too foamy. From all the research I've done, the likely culprit is it needs a cooling tower. Basically, anything above the refrigerator portion, the beer in the line in the spicket is warm, so your first beer will come out foamy. After a few, the line and spicket get cold, so you won't get as much foam. My recommendation is buy or make a cooling tower when you buy the kegerator and install it when you are assembling your kegerator, thus hopefully preventing wasted beer because of foam.

Works but needs longer kep lines

FYI needs 10 feet keg lines not 5. Once I figured that out works perfectly. Also when you turn it on, have temp gage at 1 then move up from there. Took me 3 days to get temp right. Be patient let temp stapize then all is good

This is my first kegerator so my experience is limited to friends and the occasional rental. The package arrived and after unpacking everything was in good shape except the door bracket was bent to the point the door wouldn't fit on. Fortunately a philips head screwdriver was all that was needed to lift the cover off and remove the bracket. I threw it in a vise, straightend it back out and everything then fit perfectly. Setting the keg up was simple by following the instructions. It took me about 2 hours from start to finish (including bending the bracket). After getting the regulator dialed in which took me an entire keg ( and I'm sure half a CO2 tank) it poured perfectly. It's summer and I have it set on 5 out of 6 on the thermostat (it's in my garage) and that keeps the beer nice and cold. I'm very pleased with the quality and performance of the product.

More spending required

This does not cool Beer like at your local bar. It requires a additional cooling adapter to be purchased in order for the Beer to be dispensed really cold like it should. This also causes your beer to be really foamy amd you will need longer hoses to run from keg in order to help air flow. Its a good investment just be prepared to spend a little more to have your beer chilled really good amd non foamy as it was intended to be served.

Works but runs hot and lots of exterior condensati

Arrived in great condition. Instructions are easy to follow. Fast set up. Taps and flow is excellent. After a few days you notice things. It's always running and runs very hot causing exterior condensation. They built a small plastic bucket into the back panel to catch the condensation but it fills every other day and overflows onto the floor. I'm returning unit.

Needed to replace a dying kegerator. This complete dual tapper was on sale and only $95 more than just replacing my refrigeration unit. Plus it was a dual tap system which would cost close to $200 to upgrade my existing unit.
The unit was delivered within 72 hours as promised. Well packaged with clear concise instructions. 30 minutes from opening box to plugged in. 35 degrees in 90 minutes.
The autoclose tap is a nice feature.

Spend the Money on a better kegerator

I've had this kegerator for about a year and a half now. I've had so many problems. They used cheap parts and it became apparent quickly. The beer has never poured well. The taps are forward sealing, so if you didn't use the kegerator for a week or two they would be very hard to open. If it sat a month without being used, it seized up and wouldn't open. I upgraded the taps and then the beer poured even worse because the cheap shanks won't work with good valves. I've had to deal with a couple leaks on the CO2 lines. BTW, you have to upgrade those if you ever just have one beer on tap since the original installment doesn't have a splitter that you can close off to one side.
I was a novice when I decided to buy this. Big regrets for not spending a bit more money to get a good kegerator. Save yourself the trouble and spend a bit more to get one from a well-known brand.

Get it shipped to store

Works amazingly. I have two 1/6 kegs currently on. Was nervous if they would fit because one of the breweries near me have an oversized sixtel that they sell but it fits fine. Super quiet. Don't even know it's there. No problems with the thermostat. Bought a digital thermometer on Amazon for 10 dollars so I can dial the perfect temperature in. The only problem I had was I had it shipped to my house the first time and it came all busted up with dings and dents. That would of been fine but the door hinge was broken and I couldn't fix it without the part. Called insignia and they told me to bring it back to bestbuy. It was a pain but I managed to lug it over there. Bestbuy had a new one for me in two days and I had it shipped to the store instead. Way better idea. No problems whatsoever. Will probably upgrade the lines in the future to make them longer. Also might need a nitro tap soon. The co2 fits inside with the two kegs no problem. Good craft beer by me is 100 dollars per keg but the same stuff sells for 12 dollars for 4 16oz cans so it saves a lot of money in the long run. I highly recommend this is you are a craft beer lover. Oh and wait for a sale. I got it for 450 for the Labor Day sale. Save up for the dual tap. It's totally worth it.

This was an addition to our basement bar. Easy setup, comes with wheels for easy portability. Holds two 1/4 or 1/2 barrel kegs, smooth pull on taps. No complaints so far.

Great kegerator. Works well in the garage. Nice to have the dual taps. Only beef was one of the nuts that should have been welded to the bottom was missing. I had to go to Home Depot to grab the part so I could attach the 4th wheel.

Great Unit for the Price!

I had been researching kegerators for a few weeks when I came across an amazing price on the Insignia. I read every single review and decided to make the leap with the thought that for the price I could definitely make some upgrades (faucets, regulator, tower cooler, etc.). There's no need to make upgrades! We're on our third 1/6th barrel and every pour out of this beauty has been PERFECT, even the first pour of the day; I think the key is fine tuning the CO2 pressure and having the unit inside, (the disclaimer for this kegerator specifically says it's not intended for outdoor use, though we did for a few hours one evening). The inside is VERY spacious, so no need to worry about fitting two barrels in at a time. Very highly recommend!

The problem I have with this kegarator is that all the parts were not included and some were not for this kegarator. We have a NS_BK2tSS6, first I found that the T connector was missing so I went and bought one, after getting back with the connector I found that the hose clamps were to small and fully opened would not fit over the hose. As if that were not enough I could not find any washers fir the beer feed tubes. Other than that it's fine

I snagged this on a daily deal. It's a good kegerator overall. The only complaint that I have is there is no drain under the taps. I have had some issue with foaming, but that's just a temp issue. The knob to decrease the temp is a bit misleading as 6 is coldest and 1 is warmest.
