This kegerator you can tell is a cheap one as it is kind of flimsy on the shaft leading up to the two taps but it stays really cold and taps the beer nicely. The taps do not hold in place and are only momentary hold so if you are looking to be able to tap while mixing a drink then this one is not for you.

Fits a 1/6 and a 1/4 barrel. Keeps cold and quiet. The lines should be replaced vs keeping the included hoses. Mine came with the door off the hinge and keeps falling off. It's a pain to get it back on.

Good quality overall, problems with Thermostat

The unit appears to be of good quality overall, and suitable for my needs as a home brewer. When the unit arrived I plugged it in and set it to max cool as instructed for the first 48 hours. The unit appeared to be operational, and at that time I discarded the original packaging. What I did not realize was that the unit's internal thermostat was not operational. The unit compressor continued to run continuously regardless of where the thermostat was set to, with the exception of off. The end result was frozen beer. I contacted the manufacturer for guidance. They referred me to Best Buy for return instructions. I wanted to arrange an exchange, a new unit sent out, and I would use the original packaging to facilitate returning my defective unit. The problem I ran into was the product appeared to discontinued, with no inventory remaining in the Best Buy system. This left me with the option of trying to cobble up some packaging on my own to return the unit, or keep the defective unit. I opted for keeping the defective unit, and using it in conjunction with a sensitive temperature controller. This works well, but cost me around $80 for my work around. If I ever want the thermostat fixed, it appears that will be on me.

I purchased this Kegerator 6 weeks ago. I was a little concerned when it was delivered because the cardboard box it came in was damaged in one corner. After opening the box and examining the Kegerator it appeared to be ok. I was still a little concerned if it would work the way it was suppose to. All the parts necessary to assemble the Kegerator were included and it assembled very easy. I plugged it in and allowed to cool for approximately16 hours before putting in the first kegs. I purchased two 1/6 kegs and they went in very easily with plenty of room. It maintains a nice cold temperature and works very well. I am very happy with it. It was a great deal!

This is my most prized possession. Great for party's bbq's and get togethers. I read all reviews before purchasing and some were true and some were false. Temperature is very cold in high setting I bought a thermometer and highest setting is constant 27 degrees makes for a perfect beer. Nothing pleases me more then coming home to a perfectly cold beer to take off the edge. I did find a local shop that sold me longer beer lines to help with foaming issues. I recommend changing out to 7ft of line. After this adjustment and realizing the keg has to settle before pouring immediately out of your truck during transport has proven to solve all foaming issues. Great buy, crowd pleaser, always the topic of any get together. Best purchase I've made in the last five years.

This works great and with two taps I always have a choice. It will fit a single 15.5 gallon keg or two 5 gallon ones. I added a small computer fan to keep the air moving and minimize the temperature differential. The tower is insulated as well to keep the tap lines cool.

I bought this as a gift. I bought one for myself last year which had the digital thermostat. It is a quality kegerator which we use frequently. I only gave it 4 stars because I really like the digital thermostat. Quality fridge and gets the beer super cold!

I looked at a number of different kegerators before choosing this one. As a first kegerator, it’s perfect, and I really like having two brews on tap. The quality seems good, and it runs quietly. With the few hundred dollars I save compared to the next cheapest model I was looking at, I can afford a few kegs to fill it!

    Great Entry Level Kegerator

I'm 2 months into ownership of my insignia kegerator and absolutley love it. I feel it's a quality piece of equipment for the asking price. Beware that the instructions aren't that good so if you've never tapped a keg before be prepared to spray some beer and make a sticky mess.. in my case the instructions mentioned nothing about putting the gaskets into the beer line taps and it made a huge mess. Other than that set up wasn't too bad. Depending on what kind of beer you get you may wanna consider increasing beer line length. I went with Ommegang Witte for my first and it poors a little rough at 12 PSI (Ommegang reccomended setting at 13). Before getting too crazy by changing lines and what not be aware pouring out of a tap isn't the same as pouring from a bottle so make sure your using proper technique... I found that even with a rough pour I can still get a really good pour with proper technique. Only thing I would change about this is maybe some cosmetics stuff like a stainless steel faucet tower and drip pan/grille, but for the price point I can live without those things. Highly reccomended for an entry level kegerator .

We remodeled our basement and purchased the kegerator in order to have a variety of draft beer on hand. This is the perfect size. Fits nicely in our space and allows us to purchase two different flavors. So glad I bought it.

Great buy at sale price. Not worth full price. Taps/faucets are need of upgrades and hoses need to be longer. I get foamy beer at the instructions recommended serving pressure. Makes a great beer fridge when not used as kegerator.

This kegerator looks great and works perfectly. Be sure to check all lines and hookups frequently. I had a slight leakage as one connection must have come a little loose. A quick disconnect and reconnect fixed the issue.

Overall, a great unit for the price. Relatively compact and has a clean look. The tower isn't the greatest, but to be expected at this price point. I upgraded the faucets... no problem, all standard parts.

Only reason for the 3 star reviews is 1) like many people on here my unit came in damaged with dents. Not a biggie however i didn’t notice mine was damaged until it was too late to do something about it. 2) CO2 regulator doesnt allow you to push different psi to each keg in the unit. Makes it difficult if you have a light and a heavy beer, both require different psi to push through the lines. This causes one to be either excessively foamy or the other to not pour well at all. Do yourself a favor and buy an aftermarket regulator with the ability to fine tune each keg’s PSI.
