Awesome freezer ,has shelves making it easier to find items unlike a chest freezer that things get buried or lost in

I didn't want a large upright freezer, so I'm happy with the size of this one. I just wish that it could be self-defrosting.

So far so good. Gets real cold fast, down to 0 degrees. Will have to wait until summer to see how well it stays cold.

I'm very disappointed that when I picked up the freezer the packaging showed no signs of damage.However, when I got it home and lifted the packaging off, the front door had a ding in it. I'm not overly surprised as the packaging didn't seem that sturdy. Since it's possible to remove the door to change the way it swings, I assumed they'd be able to just provide a new door. Not so. The only solution offered is to package it (almost impossible), load it into my vehicle and drive 40 miles back to the store to exchange it. The item is a Best Buy brand so good customer service should have made this easy. In fact, I'd have been happy to replace the door myself - it shows how in the user guide. Instead, I'd have to go to a lot of trouble to have my new freezer actually look new. The freezer works fine - I like it. It's Best Buy who's demonstrating poor customer service. Disappointed.

We wanted a small freezer for the garage. My wife wanted upright so she would not have things lost on the bottom of a chest. This freezer fit the bill and has performed admirably. We still have not put the temp control on max. At half way between min and max, a freezer thermometer shows the temp to be -20.

Works well to augment our main freezer. A bit hard to open-but i guess rhat means it has a good seal.
