Its ok but the buttons dont match up to the sony tv. The baklight is very nice.

Sometimes the “on” button “disconnects” as in you have to press TV before trying to turn on the TV. I’m sure this remote is very powerful but I only use it for basic functions.

It does an ok job at both. The issue is with the setup and lack of programmability. It won't allow me to turn on the TV and Directv box and tune the TV to HDMI 2 (where the DTV is plugged into). I have to turn on the TV, then manually hit the source button and enter button to tune to HDMI 2. Macro keys are ok, I was able to eventually program a macro key to turn on the DTV, and TV and tune it to HDMI2, but that takes a macro button. Macro keys are straight fwd. I have setup shortcuts for youtube.tv and Amazon TV. no issues.

Even though I explained to my children that they must select the device then hit the power button to turn on and off, most times one of the devices is always left on.

I was pleasantly surprised that the setup instructions were very simple and easy to follow, and I had no problem copying the settings from the original remote for my vizio tv.

Unfortunately one of my devices in Amazon Firestick, which is RF, not infrared. I should have known better because our firestick is installed behind the TV, which obviously means it is not line-of-sight.
