I bought a similar unit from Amazon and had nothing but connection problems and I returned it. I bought this one from best buy with a free $10 gift and has worked perfect.

I bought this item because I had just recently got an external hard drive to beef up our PS 4's storage and thought having a few more available USB ports would be a good idea. This thing fits the bill perfectly. The hard drive is plugged in to the 3.0 port, my kids LEGO Dimensions and Disney Infinity bases are plugged in and we still have two free USB ports. It was easy to install, locked right into place. It works exactly like it should. What more can you ask for? I see that Best Buy is selling a new model that has only four ports but they're all 3.0. It seems that this one is going to be discontinued. If you're going to be using multiple hard drives (as I'm sure we will eventually) that might be the one to get. Until then this one is perfect.

This Product does exactly what it was made for. I'm glad I bought this when I saw it. It helps when you need multiple controllers that need to be charged and don't want to disconnect your USB Headset. I had no problem with it only felt like I was going to break it when attaching it to the PS4 for the first time, other than that it works like a charm. If you're the kind of person who gets distracted or annoyed of lights when gaming then you might not like it. When connected it will always have this blue light that's a little brighter than what the PS4 shows but to me it's not that bad, just thought you may want to know just in case.

This hub expands your usb ports significantly. It does stick out a bit but they did a decent job making it look like it belongs on the system. Reasonable price for what you're getting.

I have the Turtle Beach Headset that charges off the front of the play station 4 and the VR helmet. These pretty much tie up the USB Ports on the from of the device. After purchasing this and then connecting/snapping it in the USB War was over. I can now have the 3 items plugged in and still have 2 ports free. This is great for having a free USB lead for registering controls while have 2 others connected for Headset Charging and VR Processing Unit. I was a little concerned how well it would work, but happy to report it works Great!. I also like the little blue light that comes on at the base of the USB device, Matches really well with the playstation look and feel. This was a cheap but effective way to get over the 2 USB slot limitation.

Only two ports on a PS4? Not anymore. Now I can charge my controller, my Elite Pulse headset and wear it all at the same time! Brilliant! This 5 port hub snaps in easily and stays put. It also has a light that stays on as long as power is being supplied to it. I only wish I would have bought this earlier.

Turtle Beach Wireless head set (USB to Charge and another for the wireless base unit), USB registration of devices, VR Gear.. Etc.. USB are gone almost instantly.. Playstation should really send the new PS4's out with more than just 2 ports or at lease put some additional USB ports on that back side of the device. BUT until they do this a godsend. Snap this puppy on to the front of your playstation 4 and voilà issue resolved. 5 USBs and seems to be about the right amount needed for our setup (Leaving 2 to spare). Bought this a week after getting the Sony VR Headset setup. Such a worth while purchase for any PS4 owner... Under 10$ in most places - just get it trust the review you will use it.... Installation was a breeze.. Plug it into the front USB on the Playstation 4 and push it in until it snaps into the body contour lines. Works Perfect.

It's inexpensive, looks great and works fantastic. With a headset, controller and keyboard you use up both USB ports on the PS4. Add this and now you have 5 instead of 2. And under $10.00 Highly reccmmend

Really easy to install and add onto the main PS4 unit. Adds extra USB ports for charging cables, headsets, and any other peripherals that you might have or need to get your game on.

Unfortunately, Sony created this problem for me when they long ago went from the first 4 USB PS3 systems to the new trend of just two USB ports. The did a decent job of integrating this, but no bones about it - it totally detracts from the clean beautiful design. Functionally it works as advertised and easy to pop on when you need the extra ports (two controllers charging, keyboard, mouse and unnecessary Bluetooth transceiver for sony's own headset - defeats the point of Bluetooth! Anyway, if you need the extra ports, this works well and is a reasonable price.

I have no problem charging multiple items from the station using usb. Including my phone and controllers. The only downside is the ps4 must be turned on to get any power from the ports.

This allowed me to charge several different things while I was still playing my game. Works great and was a great price!

I like how nice it looks and the fact that I can't damage the original USB. also it fits perfectly on the PS4

I had all but given up on finding a purpose-built PS4 USB hub when I stumbled onto this product. It fits snugly and securely on the front fascia of the PS4, allowing easy access to its five USB ports. The blue LED strip adds a nice color accent to the unit as well. I frequently do long gaming sessions, and have yet to encounter any issues with this hub; it has charged controllers, powered keyboards, and hosted numerous thumb drives without incident.

Easy plug and play, converts from 2 USB ports to 5. I have ran up to 4 items and have not had issues.

I like the option for more USB ports, but the thing is ugly. If that matters to you then think of something else.

made life easier to charge multiple items. i only wish that it was useable on the PS4 Pro.

This hub attaches very easily and securely to the PS4 console. It is great because it adds some much needed extra USB ports to my original console and provides a USB 3.0 port for the upcoming external hard drive support PS4 update. I have yet to use all of the ports at the same time, but I am sure that is soon to happen with the use of my PSVR and newly purchased HOTAS 4 Flight Stick, which is now supported by Eve Valkyrie!

The PS4 only has 2 usb ports and for those that have an external drive for additional storage, this works great, because it has a 3.0 usb port for your drive and it leaves 4 more usb ports available to charge your other controller for those continuous hrs of game play. You still have free usb ports to use with your wireless headset.

This plugs right into the front USB's on the PS4. It takes very little power consumption and works for any USB cable. It turns 2 USB ports into 5 with ease. It clips firmly into the PS4 face plate at no trouble.
